FAVOURITES: Facial Oils

If you'd had said to me a couple of months ago that I'd soon be slapping oil onto my skin every single day then I'd have just dismissed your comment. You see, I have combination skin which means that I get a few dry patches and a few oily patches. So originally, I thought that by added more oil to the skin, my oil would become an oil slick. What I didn't realise was that oils don't have to be greasy. You just have to find yourself a very good facial oil that will balance out your skin. Here are my top two.
Hedgerow Beauty Daily Facial Oil* - £12.50
This facial oil is very easy to use and it doesn't create a lot of mess as it comes with a pipette which makes dispensing the product very easy. This facial oil really nourishes the skin and it's suitable for all skin types and conditions as it is a rich emollient which promotes a smooth, replenished complexion and helps to calm any skin irritations. It also has a high antioxidant value which helps skin rejuvenation and this helps reveal a brighter skin. The scent isn't my favourite as it's lavender and I'm really not a fan of lavender but after all, this is down to personal preferences and it is create at calming the mind and relaxing you.
Lulu's Time Bomb Youth Juice Secret Oil* - £30.76
This little bottle of wonder is quickly becoming my Holy Grail. This oil mimics the skin's natural sebum so it gives you an all-over youthful dewy glow without making your skin look overly shiny. It has been specially formulated with vitamins E and C to quench thirsty, ageing skin and it creates a moisture barrier which helps to reduce the appearance of lines and crevices. I'm only 19 and I don't have ageing skin but my skin is already showing signs of ageing because of my scarring and also, you can never start too young! This oil promises results after just one week and I can vouch for that claim. After one week of use my skin looked and felt so beautiful and fresh! This oil never, ever feels greasy and it's such a pleasure to use.
