REVIEW & SWATCHES: Barbara Daly Fashion Nails

How cute are these bottles?! I'm not going to lie, the bottles are what I was first attracted me to the polishes. They're just so adorable and I haven't even put them into my nail polish box yet. They're sat on my dressing table looking so pretty. Anyway, Barbara Daly have released a new Spring/Summer collection and these lovely nail polishes are a part of it. The collection includes neutrals, brights, metallics, pastels, everything you could possibly want. The polishes also contain a new technology in them which delivers a gel-like finish.
I was sent the colours Fondant Fancy* (pastel orange with gold shimmer), Marshmallow* (pastel pink) and Violet Cream* (pastel purple). Marshmallow and Violet Cream are lovely to apply. They're opaque in two coats and deliver a glossy finish that's streak-free. I did have a little bit of trouble with Fondant Fancy however. I found that it did apply streaky and it wasn't opaque until five coats which is a shame.
Other colours include: Lolly Bliss, Electric Space Dust, Candy Cane, Cola Cube and Butterscotch.
The polishes retail for £5 each and you can buy them instore (Tesco) and online.
