REVIEW: VICHY DERMABLEND Corrective Foundation with comparison photos

L-R: before and after.

If there's one thing I love, it's a good high coverage foundation. I've tried a few over the years (Veil and Keromask) and while I love both of those and continue to use them, they don't come close to the VICHY DERMABLEND Corrective Foundation.* I've been using this for a while now and let's just say that the comparison picture above speaks for itself. It covers everything. This product claims to have "a high coated pigment concentration reaching a level of 25%, which offers twice the coverage of a traditional foundation." And as you can tell from the image, it definitely does that. Normally with high coverage foundations, they cover my scarring but I still have to use a little bit of concealer over the top to conceal them fully. With this one, I don't. This foundation is enough to cover my scarring completely. It's very lightweight and it feels like I've got nothing on the skin and when powdered, lasts all day long. It's not full on matte but it doesn't make my skin shiny infact, it feels comfortable on the skin and leaves it looking glowy and healthy. This is because it includes Vichy's Thermal Spa Water in its formula which is known for its soothing properties. It's also very easy to blend and work into the skin and it doesn't feel or look cakey in the slightest. I can't find one fault with this foundation - even the price is outstanding as it retails for just £15.50. Like I mentioned earlier, the picture speaks for itself. And if you're a sufferer of scarring then this might just be (in fact, I guarantee it'll be) your holy grail foundation. It's given me my confidence back.
You can buy this foundation here and as mentioned above, it retails for £15.50.
