Clinique Ambassador Final Post

I have completed the ambassador programme from Clinique. I have finished my reviews, uploaded my video and got 10 friends to join. Firstly, I'd like to say a huge thank you to every one who provided me with their email address or used my ambassador code; it really does mean a lot to me and I hope you enjoy your 3 step kits as much I loved mine. I am one of the first 200 to have completed the 3 steps so I will receive a full sized 3 step system! Below, I will be posting my video diary/review and also the reviews that I submitted on the website. The 3 step system I received was in skin type 3, Oily Combination. If you'd like to view my profile then my ambassador code is FR22813472.

Liquid Facial Soap -
This product is beautiful. It dissolves my make up perfectly and leaves my skin feeling comfortable and not dry or too oily. The only problem with this is that it does not remove eye make up so I've been using Clinique's Take the Day Off eye make up remover for this. This soap foams up brillaintly and you only need a tiny amount to work it into a lather for your entire face; this means that the product is great value for money. It also has a cooling sensation on the skin and I believe that it has menthol or something inside it because it also smells a bit minty (even though it claims to be fragrance free I believe that everything has to have some sort of fragrance).

Clarifying Lotion -
When I used the Anti Blemish Kit I loved my Clarifying Lotion but unfortunately I had to stop using it because it did dry my skin out a lot. In the early days of using this one (3), my skin looked a lot brighter and felt much smoother; and although at first I was worried about using it, it didn't dry my skin out. After the first week however, my skin did start to become a little drier and because of this I believe I need the Clarifying Lotion in skin type 2 next time. But I am addicted to these lotions because they exfoliate the skin exceptionally well and gently.

Moisturizing Gel -
This moisturiser is pure gorgeous. It hydrates where my skin needs it yet it doesn't make my skin look shiny or feel oily. It allows my skin to feel beautiful and provides a great base for make up. There is nothing more to say about this except it is absolutely perfect.

Overall -
A big must have for me whenever I'm trying out a new skin care routine is definitely whether or not it breaks me out and I have to say, this particular one didn't. Although it didn't help with my spots, it didn't cause any more which is amazing. To treat my spots I used Pan Oxyl and it works in harmony with my Clinique products. Overall, the Clinique 3 step system is a wonderful idea and I love the 'try me kits.' However, if I was to repurchase this (and I will be doing, hopefully I'll be one of the 200 to complete this first lol). I would change my Clarifying Lotion for skin type 2 instead.

The Video -
Now for the video, I'd love for you all to go onto the Ambassador Website and watch and rate my video on there! This is so that I'm in with the chance of winning the grand prize for London. If I do win this, I will be doing another giveaway.. A sort of bribe haha!

Also, I apologise for the lack of pictures on this page. I was going to take some however I needed to keep my Camera memory card in my laptop to upload the video, so I didn't get round to it.

Remember to enter my giveaway and apply to be a guest reviewer!

These products were sent to me free of charge for the Clinique Ambassador programme. This doesn't effect my opinion on these products.

Works with Water.. HELP: Clear Skin

Currently I am trying out this baby...
I will go into more detail of this product once I've finished the treatment off. But basically you empty the sachets into food or drink, each or drink it and it miraculously clears up your skin!

I've tried everything for my skin, everything. But I've never tried something from the inside.. Because I can't take tablets. So I'm hoping this will help me along the way.

I've already had my two sachets for today and may I just say.. so far so great. I will be finishing my months supply off but for now, check out this range! It really does sound incredible. You can do this by clicking here.

I got sent this product free of charge for reviewing purposes. This does not affect my current view of it or my review that is to come.

Topshop Make Up Brushes

I don't know how many of you are currently aware of this but I am pretty new to this.
As you all know, Topshop have their own make up range but I've only just realised that they now have make up brushes!
I definitely have my eye on this brush roll for £20! It's a great way to try out the make up brushes.
If you'd like to see more just click here.

Have any of you heard of/tried these brushes before? What do you think?

My Room

I thought it'd be a fun idea to give you a little tour around my room :) This is the room at my dads and therefore it doesn't contain any of my make up/skin care stuff. I bring all of that over from my mums in a little (or should I say big) bag every Wednesday and at weekends. The room at my dads is (as you will see) incredibly girly! And I wish I had enough room to show you everything that is in my room, however I have a lot of stuff.

My room is pink and purple although the purple does look very blue here lol. If you look to the left hand side and near the top you can just see my big poster of Justin Bieber (haha sorry girls, I'm a let down). And then further ish to the right is my Pinata which I was so keen on getting from Tesco. My curtains are High School Musical (yes, I love Disney) and my wardrobe is from IKEA.

In this one you can see my bookshelf and I just love reading! I have every Twilight book possible including all of the guides haha. On top of the bookshelf you can see my Britney and Miley tour books which I like to keep on display :) You can also see the legs of my Miley/Hannah doll which I adore! I regret not having all of the Britney ones when I was younger so now I collect everything Miley. To the right you can kind of see my dollshouse which I got when I was very young, it's beautiful and I just can't get rid of it because it was expensive. There is also my Britney tour mask up on the wall :)

To the right of my Britney Tour Mask you can see my favourite Miley tour pictures that both me and my sister took. Also, on my wardrobe there are Wall.E stickers because I'm in love with him haha. If you watch One Tree Hill you will know that Brooke and Peyton write on Peyton's wardrobe which boys are 'theirs,' so me and my sister did the same with OTH and 90210 haha.

This is my bed :) the stars above are pink lights but they always fall down so I've given up on sticking them back up. On my bed is: Woody, Lightening McQueen, Simba, Perry the Platypus, Wall.E, a Lemur, Perry the Platypus as Agent P, Look Magazine, More Magazine, The Last Song Book, Twenties Girl Book and a Cars poster. Like I said, I love Disney. To the right on my wall is a Lion King drawing of Mufasa and Simba that my friend brought my back from Disney Land Florida. I love it so much.

On my door is of course a big Britney photo from the tour. Next to that is a gorgeous HSM poster type cloth thing that I don't have the heart to take down haha. Also on the tour is a Britney Spears note that appeared on the doors of Manchester Arena that I happily stole haha.

This is my futon with lots of pillows on. My favourite being the Demi Lovato Camp Rock one.

This wall has some of my trophies and also my medals on there. If they're not on the wall they're above my wardrobe or on the wooden thing. This wall mainly contains all things Miley including a big tour poster, a calender, a montage of all my Miley tickets (films, tours etc), a signed photo of Miley (my baby haha) and also my Miley Wonderworld lanyard.. phew. I'm obsessed. It also has my Britney and Christina Tour ticket.

So that is basically my room :)

Guest Reviewer Wanted!

Hello girls :)

Recently I was offered some Colladeen Visage tablets to review and although I struggle taking tablets I thought, why not? And then I received them threw the post.. wow, they're huge and I didn't even bother trying to take them lol.

I don't want a review to go to waste as I've always wondered how tablets can affect the skin. So I would like to offer 60 tablets to a reader.

You can view more information on these tablets here.

"Can you ever see a day when you’ll pop a pill instead of applying creams?
Every beauty addict wants to know about these so-called beauty pills. How do they work? How quickly will I see results? How will it affect my skin? The nutricosmetics industry is worth nearly £200million and one of the most popular is Colladeen – a collagen boosting natural supplement.

Colladeen’s popularity has steadily grown since its launch last year. In 2009 it had over 30,000 converts and now nearly 60,000 women are devotees. Now Nature’s Best has launched NEW Colladeen Visage – and we’d like you to try it.

How does it work?
·         Collagen is a protein that forms 75% of our skin and sustained ‘free radical’ damage leads to visible signs of lines and wrinkles, as the skin loses its elasticity. Lots of nutrients are needed to keep collagen healthy but increasingly research has focused on a class of natural plant compounds called anthocyanidins found in dark skinned fruits. Research shows that these compounds can help to reinforce and preserve collagen by literally blocking the action of ‘free radicals’ and other destructive enzymes called collagenases.

·         As well as a high level of anthocyanidins (at a level that matches published studies), nutrients called carotenoids have also been recognised as playing a protective role against the damaging effects of sunlight. Two particularly ‘skin loving’ carotenoids – plant-derived lutein and zeaxanthin found in dark green leafy vegetables – have been added to NEW Colladeen Visage. A new University study found that skin fed with a high level of ‘caratenoids’ was deemed more attractive to the opposite sex…http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-1280765/The-day-tan-Forget-sunbed-fruit-veg-natural-glow.html?ITO=1490

·         Colladeen Visage also contains a high level green tea leaf extract, a potent anti-oxidant known to combat the cell damage caused by free radicals.

How soon will I see results?
Feedback from case studies in good with some reporting noticeable changes in their skin from just 2 weeks! Current trials of Colladeen Visage are measuring it’s affects from 4, 8 and 12 weeks. As such we would send you a 3 month supply to try out. “Moisturisers don’t always penetrate to the lower layers of your skin,” explains nutritionist Dr Sam Christie. “Colladeen can reach all the cells in the dermis – and quickly. The ingredients enter your bloodstream after 15 minutes.

How will it affect my skin?
Colladeen Visage’s unique combination of ingredients has been specifically developed to preserve the skin’s collagen for firmer, plumper skin. Caratenoids will give the skin a healthy glow and in combination with powerful antioxidant green tea fights free radical damage to reduce the visible signs of ageing. Nutritionist Dr Sam Christie says, “Women using Colladeen have reported less wrinkling in their hands, face and around the eyes. We can expect NEW Colladeen Visage to yield even more positive results.”

Stockist information
NEW Nature’s Best Colladeen Visage (£17.95 for 60 tablets) contain one of the richest natural sources of anthocyanidins. Both are available to order online www.naturesbest.co.uk or by phone 01892 552094."

If you're interested in trying these please email me at x.x_Jemma_x.x@hotmail.co.uk with the subject 'Guest Reviewer for Colladeen Visage' with your name, age and some information on why you believe these tablets will benefit you. If possible, could you send me a link to your other reviews (blog, reviewing site) as I need this review to be pretty good :)

Thanks!

STORAGE - My Favourite Jewellery

I did an introduction to my storage on Wednesday (I think) and I thought I'd start off with showing you how I store my favourite jewellery:

Necklaces (L-R):
Owl Long Necklace - Primark
My mum brought me this the other week as she knows I love owls and I fell in love with it immediately as it's just so gorgeous. You can't see the owl properly here but it's very shiny and has diamonds (not real) in it to define parts of the owl.

England Necklace - New Look
My sister brought me this because it was just £1. It was this cheap because it was meant for the world cup yet because England got knocked out, the price went down. And it the only reference to England it has on it? The English flag. Nothing to do with the football team. Bargain.

Sneaker Best Friend Necklace - Claire's
Another one that my sister brought me. She has the other one that says 'friends' on it and mine says 'best.' I love this and we've always wanted one :)

Cat Necklace - New Look
This is actually my sisters but she keeps it with mine because we share it. This necklace is gorgeous and the cat sparkles! I don't normally wear silver (except for these three) but this one is so cute!

Ladybird Necklace - Topshop
I brought this for my sister (we do share jewellery often lol) and it's another that's stored with my favourites. This is small and is great for everyday wear. I normally wear this to work as it's subtle and cute.

Owl Necklace - Topshop
I actually brought this one myself lol. I adore owls (as I said earlier) and this is a small one that is another that I sometimes wear for work/everyday. It's gorgeous and incredibly cute :)

Hair (Top to Bottom then L-R):
Hairclips - Topshop
I got these in the sale and they're all adorable. My favourites are the top two and I normally wear clips to pull my fringe to the side when it's due for a cut as it gets in the way.

Black Floral Headband - Primark
This headband is so cute and thick yet it doesn't stay on my head very well which is a shame :(

Gold 'Leaf' Headband - New Look
I was instantly attracted to this because I thought it looked like something that Pixie Lott wore. This is my favourite headband and I wear it most days as it's just beautiful and really transforms an outfit.

White Flower Headband - New Look
This is my sisters and because the flower is big I usually wear it for nights out/special occasions as it's a bit too 'much' for everyday.

Rings
Top Row (L-R) - Pink Flower, (Primark), Pink Flower (my mums), Daisy (not sure where this is from), Peach Flower (Primark)
2nd Row (L-R) - Tiger (Primark), Gold and Thick (Primark), Snake (Primark)
3rd Row - These are both flowers and are from a set (Topshop)
4th Row - My mums engagement ring (vintage)

My favourite ones that I wear daily are the Tiger and Snake ones from Primark and then my mums engagement ring :)

Badges
Fox
This is a charity badge that I donated £1 for. It's a cute badge and the money went to the wild animals which is always a bonus :)

London 2012
There are only a few people with these badges. My dad was producing them (or something) at work and he brought me one home. It's gorgeous!

So basically, I store my jewellery on a notice board and use pins to hang items on! It's cheap and effective :)
