Currently Loving... Yankee Candle Wax Tarts

One of my biggest obsessions is without a doubt home fragrances. I love it when people walk into my apartment and say that it smells nice. And 9 times out of 10 the reason for it smelling nice will be because of my Yankee Candle Wax Tarts.

My dad was actually the first in the family to try these out. We were browsing B&Q one day and I remembered The Sunday Girl mentioned wax tarts on her blog. We came across a Yankee Candle stand and I recommended them to my dad (as I know that he loves his oil burner). He immediately reported back how much he loved them to me and over Christmas he gave me one of his oil/wax burners. From that moment on, a day doesn't go by when I'm not burning some wax. I keep my wax tarts in an old Nutella jar so I can keep track of them. I don't have many at the moment but I do have the Christmas Cupcake, Red Velvet and Sweet Pea versions which all smell incredible. The wax tarts themselves really do last a long time. I burn them every single day, nearly all day and I find that they easily last me at least a month - and they're pretty cheap too! You can get many different variations on eBay or pop into Clinton's etc to find them.

WHAT'S ON: My Bedside Table

I've seen a few of these floating around the blogosphere recently and I thought I'd join in. I love my bedside table as it has some great essentials on there and I personally think it looks really pretty!

The Phone Holder is from eBay and I think it's really cute. I also like it because it holds the phone from the bottom and therefore I can see when my Blackberry flashes red. The mirrored photoframe (hello me) was a moving to university gift from my dad and his partner so I'm not entirely sure where it's from but it holds a picture of me, my sister, my dad, his partner and two sons in it. The other Photoframe is from IKEA and this is what I use for pictures of me and my friends. The current one is a Christmas one as well, it's Christmas! I keep the Cuticura Anti Bacterial Hand Serum* and the Renouve Anti-Aging Hand Sanitizer* by my bed just in case I get dry hands. These are also great as they're sanistizer so I can keep my hands clean without having to go into the bathroom or kitchen. I then keep the No7 Cocooning Body Balm* and Champneys Distant Shores Body Butter* on my bedside table as the packaging is cute and I like having them on display. The candle holder was a present from my mum and it says Daughter around the outside which glows when lit. The candle I currently have in there is the Yankee Candle Linen one which smells clean and fresh. My alarm clock was a Christmas gift a few years ago so I'm unsure where it's from but it's extremely useful as it tells the time, has an alarm on it and it tells me the date and day. Finally, the coaster is from a set of 4 that I bought when I first moved to university so I can't remember where I got them from. I keep one by my bed for when I'm drinking tea! Recent Purchases & Birthday Presents

Some of the things in this post will be birthday presents and some will be what I've purchased myself. I'm not going to say which is which but yeah, these are all things that I've got recently and I thought I'd show you. I enjoy being nosey so I hope you do too!

Urban Decay's Naked 2 Palette - I was so excited when this arrived today. I'm already in love and I can't wait to experiment some more with it. I've also taken pictures for a full blown review - even though I'm sure you don't need one.

Ardell and Kiss Eyelashes - I think I've actually become obsessed with false eyelashes. They make me feel so much more confident and they can really change a look. I need more!

Eyelure False Eyelash Adhesive - To accommodate for my false lash addiction. It was only £2.55 and the bottle is huge. It will last forever!

Revlon's Double Twist Mascara - I saw this on offer for just £5 in Superdrug and as I as in need of a new mascara, I thought I'd try it out. A bit risky considering I'd never heard anything about it in the blogging world. But I'm loving it so far.

MAC Lipstick in Please Me - I am in love. This lipstick is everything. I'll be dedicating a whole post to this wonderful creation so I won't say too much now.

Coca-Cola Vanilla Lip Balm - You all know I have a lip balm addiction and I just had to have this one. I love it. It's very tasty.

Pantene Heat Defence - I wanted to branch out and try something else instead of my TRESemme Heat Defence. I haven't tried it yet but I will report back.

Britney Spears Hidden Fantasy Perfume - My Britney perfume collection is now complete! I'll be doing a full post on it soon so keep an eye out if you're interested! (Thanks Dad)!

Candles at university are illegal! But I can't help it. The red one is a cinnamon and mulled wine Air Wick candle and the other two are Yankee Candles. One is lemon and the other is strawberry buttercream. I'm obsessed with them at the moment.

I've always wanted a Build-A-Bear bear and my sister bought me one for my birthday! She's so beautiful and lovely to cuddle up to. Her name is Britney of course and she sings Happy Birthday to me too :) She also has a change of clothes for when it's not my birthday..
