Cath Collins, the renowned British perfumer who has been creating luxury fragrances, body, bath and home products for over 20 years has launched two new fragrances. I've been trying out the Lily Fandango EDT* for a few days and I have to say, it's lovely. It's described as "sizzling citrus and green notes whisk through to passionate white lilies, jasmine and cassis bud to a rich and intriguing seductive oriental base of cedarwood, patchouli and oakmoss." To say that this is an EDT it lasts for a long time on the skin and you don't need to spray that much of it to be able to smell it. It's strong yet gentle and not overpowering. I like this one. I don't tend to go for floral scents (think Taylor Swift, Britney Spears and YSL) however, I think this one is beautiful. Like I said, it's not overpowering and the cedarwood, patchouli and oakmoss tone the floral side down and just makes it smell really lovely. This perfume is going to be the perfect Spring/Summer scent. The packaging is also obviously beautiful. It comes boxed and it stands on display taking over all of my other fragrances. I'll also give a little mention to the Citrus Floral "Oh La La" EDT which is described as "sparkling notes of lemon and petitgrain slide into middle notes of orange flower, bergamot and tangy grapefruit melded with heady lily, jasmine and ylang ylang, resting in a soft heart of velvety musk."
