When it comes to make up, I wouldn't say I'm very experimental. I stick to my nudes and rarely ever venture off into the world of colour. Unless of course I'm doing make up for my blog - then I'll experiment a little bit. But other than that, I usually go for a smoky nude eye and a pretty pink lip. But I do enjoy bright, bold lip colours sometimes; especially on nights out. And for when I'm feeling a little bit daring, these are the lipsticks I reach for.
L-R MAC Costa Chic is a beautiful coral colour that is on the verge of red/orange/pink. It's very pigmented and leaves a glossy finish to the lips. MAC Saint Germain is a true Barbie pink that I usually wear patted onto the lips as when it's applied straight from the bullet, it can look a nightmare (see the lip swatches below)! But I love it. It was my first MAC lipstick and it makes me feel very girly! GOSH Amethyst is a frosty purple colour that just looks stunning. I love purple lipsticks but I'm just not brave enough to wear them!
Same as above. The reason that Costa Chic has a little bit of pink/red on the bullet is because unfortunately, when I went on holiday this summer my nail polish split on the flight and covered my make up. Most got away unharmed but poor Costa Chic is still bruised!
Lip swatches have never been something that Im good at so excuse the poor quality! But when I'm looking at blogs, lip swatches are definitely something I'm interested in. So I thought I'd include them anyway. From L-R it's Saint Germain, Amethyst and Costa Chic!
