His 'n' Hers kits with Korres

I'm all about cute little travel-sized beauty sets, and you might've seen a few of these products feature in my holiday packing series. Korres is a brand that I've fallen in love with over the past few years. Their products are of such exceptional quality and I haven't found a dud one yet. Currently, four of their kits have 1/3 off of them at Debenhams so whether you're travelling this summer, or just wanting to try out a few products from the brand, now is the time to snap up a kit. At just £12.67 each, they're an absolute bargain.

Men's Kit Gift Set* - currently £12.67

This kit contains the basic grooming essentials all packed up in a compact (and environmentally friendly) travel kit. The Absinthe Shave Cream is non-foaming, doesn't require a brush and has been formulated at a milder pH than standard lathering creams. The Cream is rich in essential oils and flavonoids which work together to sooth the skin, protect it from irritation and leave behind a smooth finish. The Marigold & Ginseng Aftershave Balm is a light-textured balm which improves skin tone and firmness. The antiseptic properties provide effective protection from irritation whilst the Aloe soothes any post-shave rash. The Aloe and Ditanny Shampoo promises to be a gentle shampoo that is ideal for everyday use. The Aloe is rich in proteins and aminoacids which moisturise the hair and increase its elasticity. The Dittany is a mild antiseptic which retains the scalp's balance. The Basil Lemon Showergel and the Guava Showergel first of all both smell incredible. They have a lasting moisturising effect and are rich in many different vitamins which enhances the skin's immune system. The shower gels also claim to stimulate collagen and elastin synthesis to reduce the visible signs of ageing.

Best of Korres Gift Set* - currently £12.67

This little kit is a great way to try out some of the brand's best sellers. It also has pretty much everything you'd need for a weekend away. The White Tea Fluid Gel Cleanser uses White Tea to deeply cleanse and refresh the skin, without dehydrating it. The Cleanser is easily rinsed off, but the Oat proteins leave a moisturising film on the skin to leave the skin soft and comfortable throughout the day. I've reviewed the Wild Rose 24-Hour Moisturising & Brightening Cream before (which you can find here) and I stand by everything I said in that review. This Moisturising Cream is outstanding. It leaves the skin balanced and hydrated throughout the day. The Wild Rose oil also helps to repair fine lines and hyperpigmentation disorders. The Wild Rose Instant Brightening Mask promises a clear and radiant complexion and is suitable for all skin types. It has an instant brightening effect on the skin and the Wild Rose oil repairs fine lines and skin blemishes. It also promotes cell renewal and leaves the skin brightened and radiant. Both the Basil Lemon Body Milk and the Guava Body Butter, like the showergels, smell incredible and they both leave the skin hydrated and nourished.

The Halo Wipes range

I love beauty products that are small and portable. So as you can imagine, I'm a big fan of the brand Halo. Established in 1987, the Halo range has been produced for women who want to look good and stay feeling fresh no matter what the day ahead brings. The handbag-essentials make life that little bit easier and I've fallen in love with them. I even have a little make up bag inside my handbag dedicated to Halo wipes. The brand has recently started working with Binky Felstead and I've included a lovely Q&A video below for you to watch.

Eye Make Up Remover Pads* - £1.60

Without a doubt my favourite of the bunch. These make the transition from day to night incredibly easy. One pad is enough to do both eyes and the hypoallergenic and fragrance free pads make them suitable for even the gentlest of eyes. You don't have to vigorously rub your eyes in order to remove the make up but instead, a quick swipe and you're good to go. A lifesaver. And they even work on waterproof make up.

Handy Hygienic Wipes* - £1.09

I'm a big believer in hygiene and I always have an antibacterial hand gel or set of wipes on me. These wipes are perfect for when there's no sink around and a tissue isn't going to cut it. For example last night, I was in Chimichanga and despite being 21 now, I made a bit of a mess with the sauce. These Hygienic Wipes took me from sticky to fresh in an instant and I was ready to get Ben & Jerry's afterwards.

Deodorant Wipes* - £1.20

I haven't had a "real reason" to use these other than the fact they sounded cool. England hasn't reached summer yet (in fact, our Spring is pretty lacklustre too) so I don't find myself needing a quick deodorant touch up yet. However, I have used these a couple of times at the start of the day and they work wonderfully. They don't leave white marks on clothes and they keep you fresh as a daisy throughout the day.

Toilet & Surface Wipes* - £1.00

These beauties have become an absolute staple in my cleaning kit. I've repurchased them a few times already and I believe I will continue to do so. I use one of these every couple of days to quickly clean and refresh my bedroom as they leave any surfaces sparkling, germ free and smelling sweet. They're perfect for the kitchen and bathroom too as they protect against e-coli, e-faecalis and other bacteria.

Moist Toilet Tissue* - £1.09

I'm not too sure if these will completely replace toilet paper for me but when I'm out and about, these certainly come in handy. They have a mild chamomile formula that leaves you feeling fresh and clean after you've, you know, used the loo. A great concept and once again, I think these will be even more perfect when summer comes around.

Secrets of summer beauty revealed with Annie Levy‏

With the UK warming up, summer is very close on the horizon (I definitely found it hard to breathe yesterday with Wimbledon AND the heat) so perfecting the sought after smokey eyes is a definite "must-have" for us beauty obsessed. Luckily for us, World Duty Free and Biza Tax & Duty Free have teamed up with make-up artist to the stars Annie Levy to demonstrate how to create essential summer looks on one of my favourite social media platforms - YouTube. 

The videos are easy to watch, easy to follow and well, easy to recreate which it what it's all about really. My favourite video of them all has to be the Bronzed Goddess Look:

Ever since discovering the wonderful Half Baked by Urban Decay, I've fallen in love with all things bronzed and golden so this look is definitely very "me." Their Smokey Eyes video is also one to watch. Smokey eyes really is a classic look and ever since the rise of Miss Kim Kardashian, all of us have been wanting to recreate the iconic look - this video makes it exceptionally easy.

More tutorials are going to be added to the World Duty Free channel over the coming days so it's definitely worth subscribing if you're a YouTube geek like I am. It seems that these days there's nothing I love more than applying make up with YouTube on in the background - please tell me I'm not the only one guilty of this?!

The great thing about the World Duty Free channel is that Annie picks up the majority of her make-up must-haves at the airport to get her beauty buys tax-free at shops like World Duty Free and Biza Tax & Duty Free shops. These stores are in airports across the UK and if you're a premium beauty addict, you can get your items for 20% cheaper (I do believe that's the tax rate these days - please do correct me if I'm wrong). Another wonderful thing about tax-free stores is that often, brands release gems that are exclusive to the airport - when you come back home, not only will you be showing off your tan but also your latest MAC find that your friends won't have #braggingrights.

If you're lucky enough to be jetting off this summer then Annie has also put together her top ten tips for travellers to help get the perfect Summer-ready style:

1. Always, always protect your face from UV rays by using a sunscreen with an SPF of 30 or higher.

2. Tinted suncreams are the perfect product to use on holiday so you can avoid using make up yet still have the comfort of a base.

3. Mist sprays are invaluable in the summer whether travelling on planes or tubes, basking on the beach or sweltering in a stuffy office. Evian water spray or MAC Mineralise Charged Water Mist will be your best friend - refreshing and moisturising without affecting make up.

4. Waterproof mascara guarantees no more panda eyes when you take a dip in the pool or sea.

5. Subtle gold highlighters look amazing with a tan and are perfect holiday make up products. Use to enhance cheekbones, lips, lashes or decollete - they look amazing with a tan and are the perfect tiny size for travelling.

6. Gold highlighters look just as amazing on a tanned body but be subtle.

7. Don't forget to protect your hair in the sun especially if it's highlighted or coloured. Many brands do SPF for hair and make use of beach days and nights by combing deep conditioner treatments through your hard and then tying it back.

8. Shiny hair looks lovely with a tan but a lot of shine products make hair look greasy. Spray lightly onto a make up brush and sweep the brush over hair to avoid a greasy, weighed down look.

9. Buy the best hypo-allergenic sunscreen you can afford - your skin will thank you for it immediately and later on.

10. Don't forget sunscreen on your hands and chest even when you're not at the beach. After the face, these are the first areas to show signs of ageing like wrinkles and age spots.

I'm definitely someone who agrees with these tips especially number one. Sunscreen is incredible important to me and you can find my favourite sun protectants here. Unfortunately, I'm not going on holiday this year (as far as I'm aware) but hopefully next year I'll be sunning it up with my best friends as a big "farewell" and congratulations on our graduations (touch wood).

FAVOURITE... Miniature Products

I love miniature products. So much so that when my sister went on holiday earlier this year I bought her a few sample sized products to take with her - even though some of the full sized products were cheaper. They're so cute and sometimes a great way to decide whether or a not a product is perfect for you. Here's some of my favourites...

 Charles Worthington Takeaways Sun-Shine UV Protection Styling Spray - £1.99
I absolutely love this and whenever the sun is shining I'll throw it into my handbag to keep my hair nice and protected from the sun throughout the say.

Xen-Tan Dark Lotion* - £28.99
Oh my god I need the full size version of this. It's the most perfect fake tan out there. It's moisturising, last's up to 7 days, smells gorgeous (almond is my favourite scent) and doesn't streak. It really is perfect.

Lancome Bi-Facil - £20.00
I received this as a GWP and it's served me well. It's definitely one of the best eye make up removers out there as it melts make up instead of spreading it around the skin.

Weleda Birch Cellulite Oil* - £19.95
It's summer soon and I need Kim Kardashian's bikini body. Ok, maybe I'm being a bit ambitious there. But I need a niceish one. So I'm trying this out. So far I really like it. It smells lovely and absorbs quickly. Word of advice though - don't use it after applying fake tan like I stupidly did.

Good Things Miracle Mattifier Lotion* - £7.99

Jurlique Rosewater Balancing Mist* - £16.50
This mist is wonderful for balancing the skin and keeping it hydrated throughout the day. I've also blogged about this a few times and you read the posts here.

Benefit POREfessional Primer - £23.50
Of course, I received this free with this months Glamour magazine and I absolutely love it. I'm definitely contemplating whether to not to buy the full sized version. It slides over pores and completely fills them in.

Etat Pur Oil-Free Quenching Fluid* - £7.80
I blogged about receiving these free samples a while ago and I'll definitely be doing a full review of them and the brand as a whole. But I really love both this moisturiser and the other moisturiser (down below). They're great value for money and work really well with my skin.

Orla Kiely Eau De Parfum* - £55.00
I'm really bad when it comes to perfume and normally I just wear Britney ones. I love Britney of course and when it comes to perfume there's just too many out there for me to choose from. This one though is lovely and I think I might have to purchase it in full. It's a very nice fresh scent that's great for summer.

Etat Pur Light Moisturizing Emulsion* - £7.80
I blogged about receiving these free samples a while ago and I'll definitely be doing a full review of them and the brand as a whole. But I really love both this moisturiser and the other moisturiser (down below). They're great value for money and work really well with my skin.

Glam Glow Mud* - £49.99
I will definitely do a full review of this product. It's a mask and a scrub in one and once you've used it once you will instantly see a difference in your skin. A tiny bit goes a long way and it's marketed at all skin types - from very dry to acne prone. I used this as a mask for 15 minutes then scrubbed my skin and washed it away and immediately my skin looked clearer and my face looked glowing. It's so expensive but I know that when I get my student loan I'll be buying this. Now, I just have to wait until September..
