A few weeks ago, I announced a brand new collection from Models Own. And if you can remember, I was pretty excited about it. Cutting a long story short, this new collection is neon and to keep the colours neon, you keep them in the fridge. I've been lucky enough to be sent two out of the five colours available. The two colours I was sent were Bubblegum* and Pukka Purple* and you can see them sitting pretty in the egg holder of my fridge in the first picture. First thing's first, they apply like a dream. They're opaque in one coat and they're so smooth on application. They dry pretty quickly and they leave a semi-matte finish on the nails (if you want a glossy finish then you can simply add a topcoat). The colours themselves are beautiful. The pink is so vibrant and neon and really stands out. The purple on the other hand is bright but I don't class purple as a neon colour - it is still bright and beautiful though. Overall, I'm in love with these. The formula is great, the colours are great and they're such an innovative product. I now just need the yellow polish.
