Last week I wrote a post about KIKO cosmetics and as promised, here's my first review of one of their products. Since receiving these lipsticks*, I haven't wore anything else on my lips. These lipsticks are lovely. When I first read through the press release I was worried about them as they're called "Long Lasting Lipsticks" and as we all know, long lasting lipsticks are normally awfully drying on the lips. But not these ones. They feel really comfortable on the lips and they dry to a semi-matte finish. They smell and taste like MAC lipsticks and they're incredibly easy to apply. They glide onto the lips and just look amazing. I usually have a problem with how lipsticks apply on my lips and I find them to highlight my dry patches - but these are really smooth and look so nice. My favourite colour is definitely Rosy Beige. I didn't think I'd like it as I thought I'd be too pale for me but it has a rosy undertone which flatters my skin tone perfectly. The other two colours are also beautiful and although they're colours I wouldn't normally go for, I find myself reaching for them a lot more than I thought I would. As the name suggests, they last a long time on the lips. I've found that they last at least 6 hours easily. The packaging is also something that's worth a mention. Unlike "standard lipsticks" the lipstick bullet itself is thin and therefore I find them wonderful for taking out on nights out with me as they don't take up a lot of room in my handbag.
