A few weeks ago, I was invited to the Tesco Beauty Event where I'd have been able to meet and interview Joey Essex. I was incredibly excited about this opportunity as I'm a huge TOWIE fan and Joey has always been my favourite however, I couldn't afford to go down to London. After a few tears I allowed myself to get excited about Joey's new beauty range and now, I can reveal what it is. Exclusively for Tesco, the Reem reality star has designed and released his very own, brand new styling range. The range contains five different styling products which allow you to help recreate Joey's famous quiff - Styling Wax, Re-Work Putty, Shaping Paste, Beach Spray and Extreme Hold Gel. The Beach Spray gives your hair texture and definition. The Re-Work Putty allows you to twist and mould your hair to get the spiked look. The Shaping Paste gives you a messy look that screams "I've just got out of bed and have made no effort." The Styling Wax allows you to create a slick, dapper look. And the Extreme Hold Gel leaves a glossy, wet hold on the hair. All of the products (except for the Extreme Hold Gel which retails for £3.99) retail for just £2.99 which is bargain when you compare it to other brands.
I love the packaging of these products and I think that they're a great idea. Joey Essex is definitely known for his hair and if it brings the male species even 1% closer to looking like Joey Essex then I'm all for it. Even though this range is mainly aimed at men, I'm definitely considering trying out the beach spray to give my hair texture.
