Last night, or well, this morning I returned from my sister's flat and decided that I wanted to play around with some coloured eye shadow. I looked in my make up drawers and found this beautiful purple colour and a black colour that I rarely ever used. So I thought I'd try and create a look with it. Next time, I would use a more intense black (possibly one from Urban Decay) to make the eyes stand out more but I wanted to keep this a high street make up tutorial so it's more affordable.

I do really like how this turned out and I was actually a little bit gutted that I wasn't going anywhere to show it off. I'd like to think that I'd wear it on a night out but then again when it comes to colour, I'm not that confident. Although I do think it's pretty subtle! Do you like purple/coloured eye shadows?
