eBay wishlist #2

"I'm a lot cooler on the internet" t-shirt | Silicone make up brush cleaner | Make up bag | Lipstick holder

I haven't posted an eBay wishlist in a while because I haven't really spotted anything that I fancied. But over the past couple of weeks, I've been adding a lot of products to my wishlist and when I get paid, I'll definitely be purchasing a few (okay, all of them).

You can never have enough storage and although I don't use cotton buds, I love the dispenser a lot. I'll just have to start using them. The same goes for the lipstick holder. Currently my lipsticks aren't very organised and this holder will allow me to have my favourites on display. Which brings me on to the MAC lipstick. I haven't ordered from this seller before but apparently the lipsticks are 100% genuine for a few quid cheaper.

I definitely don't need any more make up brushes but you can't grumble at the price of the Real Techniques rip offs. The ring is adorable and although most of my rings sit inside my jewellery box, I love cats so I need it. The t-shirt is a must have and I can imagine it'd look lovely with jeans or a high waisted skirt. I'll definitely be investing. In multiple colours.

The silicone oven mitt is something that I think will make cleaning my make up brushes a lot easier. I find it a bit of a chore and I can never quite be bothered, but this mitt will make it fun. I think. And finally, the make up bag. This has been in my wishlist for a really long time and it's about time I bought it. For me, it's quite pricey but I think it's adorable.

What items are currently on your eBay wishlist?

WIWT | New Years Eve

Blouse: Primark
Necklace: Primark
Disco Pants: eBay
Heels: Steve Madden

Two WIWT's in two days?! Oh you lucky sods. I didn't want to write the usual "Happy New Year" blog post because quite frankly, I'm fed up of seeing them. My BlogLovin' feed was covered in them when I woke up this morning. I did, however, want to show you what I wore last night. Some of you may have already seen it on Instagram but nonetheless, here it is again. In a last minute "I have nothing to wear" panic, I hit town yesterday looking for a new dress. When I realised that the dresses were awful, I decided I'd wear my Disco Pants with this beautiful blouse from Primark. The colours are stunning, the fit is flattering and the price (£12) was even better - I'm addicted. I hope you all had a wonderful New Years Eve and I wish you all the best in 2014. Bamboozle Beauty is going to be four years old in just a few days - absolute madness! Thank you for making 2013 special.

What did you wear on New Years Eve?

eBay loving: imhappyuk

1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8
In case you don't follow me on Twitter and you haven't heard me stressing out, I've been invited to a black tie event next month and for the past few weeks, I've been trawling every clothing website trying to find the perfect dress. In the end, I took to eBay and discovered an eBay store which has quickly become my favourite. A lot of their items are "Buy it Now" however, they do auction off their items as well which means that you're good with buying on eBay, you can get yourself a bargain.

I'm currently bidding on dress number 4 for more than its Buy It Now price. You see, their Buy It Now clothing is from China which means it takes a while to ship to the UK but some of their bidding clothing is from the UK which is why I'm willing to pay more. There's no point in me buying the dress for it not to be here in time for the event! For me, their clothes are perfect and exactly my style - cute, ditzy and girly. When I get paid at the end of the month, I'll definitely be placing an order so I will let you know what the quality is like. If I win dress number 4, I'll also let you know about their quality.

If you've already ordered from this store before, let me know if their quality is up to scratch. You can visit the store here. I'm also considering writing "eBay wishlist" posts as their definitely my favourite to read. So if you're interested, let me know.

Reunion outfit of the night and eyes of the night

For the first time in two years I met up with some of my school friends and we went out into town on Bank Holiday. It was an amazing night and I loved catching up with them. But onto the important bit, my hair, outfit and make up... On my eyes I used Urban Decay's Midnight Cowboy over the lid, Darkhorse in the crease and Stray Dog on the outer corners and underneath the eyes. I then used Seventeen's Tattoo Me Semi Permanent Liquid Liner to create a winged eyeliner. This eyeliner is very easy to use and lasts forever. It lasts so long that it's difficult to remove which is a pain but great for nights out. I used Seventeen's Doll'd Up Mascara which is amazing. A complete bargain and finally I used KIKO's Vivid Eyes Kajal and Eyeliner* on the waterline.
Shirt: New Look
Disco Pants: eBay
Heels: New Look
This wasn't an outfit that I really wanted to wear but seeing as I didn't bring any "going out clothes" back home, I had no choice. The outfit was really comfy though. I wanted my hair curled but I didn't take any curlers back home either and my GHD's just weren't curling anything. I looked in my wardrobe and saw the rag rollers that I used and they ended up making my hair look really nice which was a big surprise.
So there you have it! A last minute outfit, a use-what-you-have hair and make up look. What do you think?

OOTD: Dork

An outfit post on Bamboozle Beauty? Really? I know! It's a rarity. I don't feel comfortable doing outfit posts all of the time but I bought this t-shirt yesterday and I just had to show it you. I've been after one for a while now but I couldn't justify spending nearly £20 on one from Topshop. So of course, I turned to my trusty Primark. This top cost me just £4! Unbelievable right?! I love these t-shirts because of the way that they fit, the sleeves and the colour. I'm not particularly fond of the writing/text but hey-ho, you win some and you lose some. The disco pants are off of eBay and I've been loving wearing them lately. My earrings are once again from Primark and they cost me just £1. The lipstick* is from KIKO and it's in the colour 03. It's a beautiful bright pink/purple colour and it lasts on the lips for ages. And finally, the nail polish* is also from KIKO and it's in the colour 423. I haven't taken this off of my nails since I received it. It's a stunning green colour with green flecks of shimmer/glitter running through it. Oh and my socks are from Primark in case you're wondering - I was too cold to take them off!

Steve Madden Playy-R Platforms

This is a "fashion" post that I couldn't resist doing. I've never been a shoe person - gasps all round I know - I've always been more of a make up person to be honest. But when I saw these beautiful Steve Madden shoes on offer in New Look, I couldn't resist buying them. In fact, I bought these early in January with my birthday money off of my dad. They're glitzy, glamorous and of course, Steve Madden! They're my first pair of designer heels and I'm in love with them. So in love with them that I haven't worn them out yet. And also because they are pretty high and I struggle to walk in them but we'll just ignore that part. They are a platform heel (as the name suggests) and the heel is so high for someone who's used to wearing 3 inches. The heels themselves are 5 inches but the platform is 1 inch. I bought these for £25.50 instead of £84.99 and you can see me wearing the shoes here. These shoes (in size 5) are still on sale in New Look and you can find them here. They're on sale in grey too which you can find here. However, if you're not a size 5 you can find them on eBay here. If you want to see more of the Steve Madden/New Look range then click here.

WHAT I WORE: To the VIVA FOREVER! Cocktails launch

As you all already probably know by now, on Tuesday 5th February I was invited to the launch of the VIVA FOREVER! cocktails at Harvey Nichols. As my original post on the launch was way too long (you can view it here), I decided to put my outfit and make up in a separate post for you.
For my outfit, I kept it pretty simple. I wore my brown boots from New Look, my disco pants dupe off of eBay and my new blouse from Primark (which cost just £2 in the sale). I then paired this outfit with some rose gold earrings from New Look. Underneath the blouse, I wore a skin coloured vest as the blouse is pretty sheer.
I curled my hair with my new curlers, the BaByliss 2287BU Pro Curl 210 Styling Hair Tongs and although my hair looks pretty decent in these photos, by the end of the event, it had unfortunately completely dropped. You can probably also see that I've ombred my hair so expect a blog post on that soon too! I used my HD Brow Palette* on my eye brows, Laura Mercier's Silk Creme Foundation, Benefit's Boi-ing Concealer and 17's Miracle Matte Pressed Powder on my skin, Nars' Deepthroat and Liz Earle's Natural Glow Bronzer* on my cheeks and on my lips I used Revlon's Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie*.
As always, apologies for the dodgy eye liner application on one eye and also, sorry for the bottom two photos - I have no idea why they're blurry in the collage as the original photos weren't. On my eyes, I used Urban Decay's YDK all over the lid and Urban Decay's Buck in the crease to add definition. I then used Urban Decay's Half Baked underneath my lower lash line and Urban Decay's Sin underneath my brow bone and on the inner corner of my eyes. The eye liner on my top lid is Collection 2000's Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner and on my water line it's Lancome Le Crayon Khol in Noir. For mascara, I used Lancome's Hypnose Drama.

Make up and outfit of the night

Since getting a better camera, I've been taking pictures of my eye make up a lot more. This is the make up that I wore out last night and for the first time in a long time, I resorted to using my Urban Decay Naked palette. Since the release of the Naked 2 and the Naked Basics palette, this one has taken a back seat. Probably because I don't like the packaging as much as the others and also because the colours are a lot more warm toned than the Naked 2. However, I do love this palette and I feel bad for neglecting it so I thought I'd do a warm toned, shimmery smoky eye and this is how it turned out...
First of all, I know my eye liner flicks aren't perfect (especially on my left eye) but I am getting better and I keep on trying to perfect them. Maybe one day, I'll get there! I started off my using Sidecar all over the lid. This is a colour that I used to use in my crease but I did want a deep smoky eye so I thought it'd be good using it over my lid. I then used a little bit of Smog in the crease to create a more defined shape. To darken and smoke this out, I used Hustle on the outer corner and winged this out. I used Sin to highlight the inner corners of my eyes and also my brow bone. I then used Sin, Sidecar and Hustle underneath my eye to create a gradual effect. The eyeliner I used was the Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hour Felt Tip Liner and I set this and darkened the liner with the eyeshadow Creep which is also from the Naked palette. The mascara I used was my favourite Lancome Hypnose Drama. I also used Lancome's Le Crayon Khol Noir on my waterline which is wonderful as it lasts all night long.
What do you think about this eye look? I ended up really liking it as it defined the eyes well whilst also creating a bit of drama. More recently, I've stopped wearing intense smoky eyes but I'm definitely going to start doing so more often as I had a lot of fun creating it.
You can buy the Naked Palette for £36 here.

I also brought out my favourite ever lipstick which is MAC's Lazy Day. I don't use this very often as it was a limited edition item from the To The Beach collection but it's the most perfect nude pink shade ever and I'm really glad I wore it. I didn't take it out with me for touch ups though as I'd be too scared to lose it haha! You can see a swatch of the lipstick here. The outfit picture isn't very good as I had to create a collage on Paint instead of my usual PicMonkey as it just wasn't going well at all. But my blouse was from Primark (in the sale, £2, absolute bargain). It is one or two sizes too big for me and because of that, I paired it with my rip off Disco Pants from eBay. I've been searching all day to try and find a link to them but I just can't so I'm guessing they have stopped selling them. I was a bit apprehensive to wear this but I did actually feel pretty comfortable in them in the end. The shoes aren't what I wore out in the end as they are ridiculously high but the shoes in the picture are from Steve Madden and I will be doing a blog post on them soon!
I didn't get many pictures throughout the night as I think we were all too busy having a good time. But it was a really lovely night out and the picture above is of me and a few friends (and the rest of the football team) off of Facebook so sorry about the LQ image.
What do you think about this look? Do you like wearing heavy eye make up on night's out?

WHAT'S ON: My Bedside Table

I've seen a few of these floating around the blogosphere recently and I thought I'd join in. I love my bedside table as it has some great essentials on there and I personally think it looks really pretty!
The Phone Holder is from eBay and I think it's really cute. I also like it because it holds the phone from the bottom and therefore I can see when my Blackberry flashes red. The mirrored photoframe (hello me) was a moving to university gift from my dad and his partner so I'm not entirely sure where it's from but it holds a picture of me, my sister, my dad, his partner and two sons in it. The other Photoframe is from IKEA and this is what I use for pictures of me and my friends. The current one is a Christmas one as well, it's Christmas! I keep the Cuticura Anti Bacterial Hand Serum* and the Renouve Anti-Aging Hand Sanitizer* by my bed just in case I get dry hands. These are also great as they're sanistizer so I can keep my hands clean without having to go into the bathroom or kitchen. I then keep the No7 Cocooning Body Balm* and Champneys Distant Shores Body Butter* on my bedside table as the packaging is cute and I like having them on display. The candle holder was a present from my mum and it says Daughter around the outside which glows when lit. The candle I currently have in there is the Yankee Candle Linen one which smells clean and fresh. My alarm clock was a Christmas gift a few years ago so I'm unsure where it's from but it's extremely useful as it tells the time, has an alarm on it and it tells me the date and day. Finally, the coaster is from a set of 4 that I bought when I first moved to university so I can't remember where I got them from. I keep one by my bed for when I'm drinking tea! What do you keep on your bedside table?

FASHION: Recent Purchases

When I got my student loan, I thought I'd treat myself to a few new clothing pieces. So I went onto eBay (my addiction) and typed in "fit and flare" and then "peplum dress" and these are what I ended up winning!
From left to right.
FIRST: The top is from Warehouse and I got it a couple of Christmases ago in Debenhams after my dad bought me a shopping experience there. It's so pretty and it's very versatile. It can be worn in summer, winter, with jeans, with a skirt, during the day, at night. I absolutely love it and I find myself wearing it all the time. The skirt is then from eBay and it was an absolute bargain at £4.49. Yes, it's from Hong Kong so it takes a little while to come but it's worth it. It's not the best quality but for less than £5, what are you expecting? It's beautiful, flattering and I adore it. You can find this skirt here. The necklace is from Tally and Hoe which I've blogged about before here. The necklace I'm wearing is the Scissors & Comb necklace* which is one of my favourites!
SECOND: The green dress is yet again from eBay. When I was bidding on it, I didn't see a brand name but I really didn't care to be honest. And even now, I'm unaware of what brand it is but it's such a pretty colour and cut that it just doesn't bother me. I've never been one for brand names and as long as I like it, the brand name definitely doesn't matter. This dress is peplum style around the backs and sides and at the front, it cuts away from the peplum style. I would say it's kind of a futuristic dress which is cute but what drew me towards it was definitely the colour. So pretty! The necklace in this outfit is one that my dad bought me for Christmas a really long time ago. It's a beautiful silver drop down necklace and I really love it. It was from Debenhams but I highly doubt they still have it in there as it is pretty old.
THIRD: And finally (almost) the pink dress is once again from eBay. This is a brand name and this is from BooHoo. I've had a look on the website but unfortunately, they no longer sell it. Once again what drew me to this was the colour. Pink is my favourite colour but ever since becoming a 'teenager' or even an 'adult' I just don't seem to buy pink clothes - probably because I think I'll look like a little girl. But I couldn't resist this dress. It's a bright pink, a very bright pink which shows off my newly spray tanned body (post coming soon) and yet again, it's a peplum style dress. This time, it's a full peplum dress and it also has black netting around the top.
The only things I don't like about the top in the first picture and the two dresses is that they don't have sleeves in them and seeing as I don't like my arms, it's not a good thing for me. But it's nothing that my beautiful, white blazer from Tesco can't fix! I'd been after a white blazer for a ridiculously long time and I walked past this in Tesco, saw it was £10 and very quickly bought it. I wear it on pretty much every night out. I love it so much. Finally the shoes (which are dirty and for some reason I didn't think to clean them before taking the pictures) are from New Look and I've had them a good few months now. They're the only heels I ever wear as they're comfy, easy to walk in and go with pretty much anything. These were really cheap when I bought them and when I looked on the New Look website I noticed that they're now in the sale and they're only £12. You can view these shoes here.
Have you ever used eBay for buying clothes?

Disco Pants - eBay style

After seeing this post on Lauren's blog, I knew I had to get myself some 'cheap American Apparel Disco Pants.' They look absolutely stunning on Lauren and even though she's a lot thinner than I am, I thought 'why not?!' seeing as I practically live in leggings. You can see me wearing them here (and also One Direction looking beautiful) -
Top - Primark
Blazer - New Look
Disco Pants - eBay
Shoes - Very old!
I absolutely love this look but I'd never dare wear it out mainly due to my large thighs. I love how Sandy-esque it is, I just need to gain a bit of confidence (okay, a lot of confidence) before wearing it on a night out.
Dress - Primark
Belt - Primark
Disco Pants - eBay
Shoes - Very old!
These are very comfortable, very flattering and really do suck the stomach in due to them being high waisted and tight. I really love them and I can't wait until I go out again so I can wear them!
