WISHLIST | Winter Boots

As much as I hate the cold, I sure do love winter fashion. Cosy coats, beautiful boots and snug scarves certainly do it for me. I absolutely adore layering up and feeling comfortable and safe. Recently, I bought a pair of boots from Primark for just £10. They're brown and lovely and they've made me want even more. So above, I've compiled a "winter boots wishlist" much to the dismay of my bank balance. I've never owned a pair of high leg boots before (that I'm aware of) but since spotting the ones above from New Look and Equestrian Clearance, I'm really lusting after some. The heeled boots from New Look are must-haves for me - after all, I'm a student who goes out quite a lot and on the dreaded walk to the nightclub and home, I don't want my feet getting cold. I certainly will be investing in another pair of boots and I've already been sending images of ones I'd like for Christmas to my mother.

What boots are you currently lusting after?

HAUL: Westfield Derby

L-R: Maxi Skirt - Primark £10, Pinafore Dress - Quiz £12.99, Aztec Dress - Primark £5, Bird Print Dress - H&M £10, Pink Peplum Top - Dorothy Perkins £8.50 (with student discount), Black vest top - Topshop £9 (with student discount), Black T-Shirt - Primark £5, Shoes - Quiz £9.99

On Wednesday, me and my mother took a little trip to the Westfield Derby shopping centre for a bit of retail therapy. I was very kindly gifted a gift card to spend there as a little thank you from them for this post. We had a really lovely day and I managed to get quite a few things. For me, I'm a beauty addict and whenever I go out to buy clothes, I always end up coming back with beauty products. So this time, I decided to go into Boots last after I'd bought a lot of clothes as they're what I needed the most.

First of all we went to Nando's as by the time we got there, it was midday and we were both extremely hungry. It was my mum's first time in the restaurant and luckily for me, she enjoyed it. After that, we walked around the centre and ended up finding items in Dorothy Perkins, Quiz, H&M and Topshop. Originally, I had planned on spending the majority of my money in New Look as it's my favourite store but on that day, I just didn't have any luck. I paid for the Nando's on my gift card and my mum gave me the money for it back so I could also have a cheeky trip in Primark (which isn't in the centre) - how clever of us! We also ventured into Debenhams so I could have a sniff of the Estee Lauder Bronze Goddess Eau Fraiche Skinscent. Big mistake. It's beautiful and now, I need it but it's pretty pricey - boohoo.

Of course, I took a trip into Boots after I'd spent the majority of the money on clothing. Seeing as it's 3 for 2 on skin care products, I decided to repurchase the Nip + Fab Glycolic Fix pads and the La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo as they're two of my favourite skin care items at the moment. I then decided to get the Garnier 5 second Perfect Blur as I'm in need of a new primer and this one promises miracles, so why not? I was also in need of new eyeliners and my favourite Collection 2000 Extreme 24 Hr Felt Tip Liner Pens were on offer for 2 for £5 so I decided to get two as I run out of them quite quickly. I then saw the Trevor Sorbie Brilliant Brunette Hair Mask in the clearance section for £2 so I picked one of those up.

I apologise that the pictures aren't the great - I'm really not the best at photographing clothes and they were taken when I was back home so I had to make the most of different rooms and space. I will however, more than likely be featuring most of the clothing in outfit of the days coming very soon so you'll be able to see them a little bit better. I'd just quickly like to say a massive thank you to Westfield for the gift card - it was incredibly kind of them and I had a great day in the wonderful shopping centre. The Westfield gift card is a great idea - you can spend it at most of the stores inside the centre which means you have a lot of variety and choice. Have you ever been to a Westfield centre before?

The gift card was gifted to me free of charge so a lot of the items mentioned were essentially PR samples. However, I wasn't asked to blog about my visit and all items were chosen by me.

POLYVORE: Spring daytime fashion

Spring daytime fashion

Spring daytime fashion by bamboozlebeauty
I've been playing around on Polyvore again - guilty! This time, the outfit was centred around Disco Pants. I own my own cheap eBay pair but they don't have the ever-so-famous button and zip on them so I'm currently on the look out for some new ones. I'm addicted to them. I think they're easy to wear, comfortable and extremely stylish. As soon as saw the New Look blouse, I fell in love. I think it's a great way to "dress up" an outfit and I love Peter Pan Collars - they're adorable. The bag, shoes and sunglasses give the outfit a little bit of colour and also match perfectly together. I chose Britney's Island Fantasy fragrance as it's a recent purchase of mine. Fragrance finishes an outfit off for me and this one is perfect for Spring/Summer in the day time as it's light, fruity and fresh.

POLYVORE: Basic T-Shirts

Basic T-Shirts

Since losing weight. I've become obsessed with basic t-shirts. I tend to buy them a size bigger so that they're slouchy and oversized - to me, they look and feel more comfortable. The t-shirts above are my favourites at the moment. I'd wear them all with disco pants or jeans. They're very easy to throw on when going shopping or attending a lecture. On the subject of fashion, make sure you check out my Celeb Style: Selena Gomez post for the e-tailPR blog and let me know what you think. Also, let me know if you like these Polyvore posts. I sure do enjoy making them and I seem to get positive feedback about them on Twitter.
Which t-shirt is your favourite? Do you like these kind of posts?

POLYVORE: Cat wishlist

Cat wishlist

I love cats. There's no doubting that. And I'm loving all of the cat clothing that's making its way onto the high street at the minute. So I thought I'd compile a Polyvore wishlist with all of the cat clothing I'm currently lusting over - oh student loan, I do wish you'd hurry up! I'm in desperate need of the Topshop and Dorothy Perkins jumpers, the River Island skirt and the New Look tshirt. What do you think about the cat clothing trend? Do you love cats? Post your favourite cat items below.

WISHLIST: Playsuits

1, 2, 3, 45, 6, 7.
Playsuits are my one true love at the moment. I think they're easy to wear and ridiculously cute. I currently only have two of them - this one from New Look and one which I recently purchased from Lashes of London after writing this blog post (a full blog post on the playsuit will be up soon). As you can see, there's a little theme running through these playsuits - I love dark colours, particularly black as I think it's the most flattering colour. I also love cute, ditsy playsuits with bows, collars, animal prints, sequins and lace. The playsuit that I need the most is the pinafore one from Topshop. However it's so expensive! So I'm currently searching all over eBay in the hopes of finding something similar for cheaper. Or if you've seen another brand do a similar version, please do let me know. When I met DollyBowBow at the Spice Girls event she was wearing it and she looked beautiful in it. It's such a staple piece and although it is expensive, I know I'd get a lot of wear out of it. But that doesn't persuade a cheap skate like me enough!

WANTS: Basic T-Shirts

For some strange reason, all I've been wearing recently is jeans. I've never really been a fan of jeans as I don't think that they're uncomfortable. Plus, I like wearing t-shirts that aren't skin tight and for reason, I've always thought that they're the t-shirts you have to wear with jeans. But now I've gotten over this very strange and stupid theory, I can't stop wearing them! So I've picked out a few basic t-shirts that I love and I quite frankly, need!

What do you think about these t-shirts? I think they all look really casual and they'd look great paired with jeans. The thing about jeans is, especially skinny jeans, that you can afford to get away with oversized t-shirts (just like leggings) as the jeans are pretty much stuck to your body. So although oversized t-shirts pretty much hide away your figure, the skinny jeans show off your figure too. I definitely need to pick up some of these t-shirts. My favourites are without a doubt numbers 2, 3, 7 and 9.

FASHION: Freshers Week Outfits

Seeing as it's Freshers Week this week (eeeeek) I thought I'd show you the outfits that I'll (more than likely) be wearing. Some are new, some are oldish. I'm still trying to find a place in my new flat with good lighting so I can take better outfit shots so do bare with me until I've found that. The shot of the outfit on its own is more to show you the colour whereas the shot of me wearing the outfit is more to show you the fit.
This skirt has become a staple in my wardrobe and although it's more for day time wear, I wanted to find a nice top so I could wear it out. I went into Primark and fell in love with this top. It has a gorgeous Peter Pan collar and the print is really cute. I also love the dainty material and the way it falls.
I've been wanting a white blazer for a long time now but I'd never saw one that fit my budget. Until I was walking around Tesco and spotted this one that was on sale for just £10. I quickly bought it and I'm so excited to wear it during Freshers Week. This dress is one that I bought the other week and I've fallen in love with it. It fits so nicely and it's really comfortable and flattering on my figure.
I wore this for my last university night out a few months back and since then, I haven't had the opportunity to wear it. But I do really love it. It fits beautifully and really pulls me in at the waist. It's also very comfortable and easy to wear. The only problem is it does make me feel a little bit insecure around the chest area as sometimes it falls down so I definitely need to invest in some tape!
I bought this for my holiday a few months ago and I loved the fit of it. It's a fit and flare dress which as you can probably tell, is my favourite. The only thing that I don't like about it is that it's sleeveless and considering I hate my arms, this isn't a good thing. So I've thrown the blazer over the top and I've fallen back in love with it. It's nice and easy to wear and it's very comfortable too.
I blogged about this earlier this year and I still love it. I bought it because I saw Britney wearing it and to be honest, I had no intention of wearing it. But the colour is so beautiful and the style of the dress is stunning. I do feel insecure in this sometimes but I'm starting to go to the gym next week so hopefully by the time Freshers Week arrives I'll be nice and slimmed up for this.
I love, love, love the colour of this! Once again, I don't wear it very often due to the fact that my arms are out but I love the colour so much that I'm going to brave wearing it in Freshers Week. I will put a belt around the middle though. Maybe brown, maybe black. I'm not too sure yet. This dress is currently on offer in New Look for just £10.
Blazer - F&F at Tesco, Dress - Primark, Leggings - eBay
This last outfit is one that I'm unsure whether or not I'm going to wear. I love the leggings but they're so uncomfortable to wear as when you go out it's really hot and these just seem to conduct heat and leave your legs all sweaty. And the dress is way too short to wear without them. So I'm not sure if I want to wear it yet.
Which outfit is your favourite?

My Favourite Dresses

A lot of have asked for more fashion related posts on my giveaway. And although I really don't think I'm fashionable, I'm here to give you what you want so hopefully, there will be more outfit of the days/nights on the way. Probably more outfit of the night than day time ones because when it comes to the day time I'm usual in lectures and I literally just wear whatever is ironed and washed. But for now, I thought I'd show you my favourite dress. I do apologise about some of the images - I've tried to use ones that show off how the dress fits and frames the figure but unfortunately, some are pretty low quality.
This is definitely my all time favourite dress. I bought it because I had seen Britney wearing it and although originally I had absolutely no intention of wearing it, I do wear it quite often. But probably not often enough as it is a body con dress which means that it really clings to the figure and unfortunately I'm not confident enough. But I do really love it. Especially the colour.
Primark - £10
I wear this dress so much. Although it's from Primark it's really good quality and frames the figure beautifully. It's pretty thick and emphasises curves and your best assets. The top half of the dress is pretty body con and then the second half is flowing. I really love this and it's my fail safe dress. I usually team it with a black or a brown belt.
New Look - Can't find the price but was around £30
I had to include this dress because it's very special to me as I wore it onstage when I danced with Britney. It's very flattering, comfortable and easy to wear in the day or at night time. Once again, another fail safe dress. This one never lets me down. I usually wear it with a brown belt to pull me in at the waist.
New Look - Can't find the price but was around £30
This my 'fat day' dress as it just skims the figures wonderfully and hides anything that you want it too. With it being black as well it really slims down your figure. It is pretty short but I don't mind that I do quite like my legs (with heels). It's easy to wear and throw on and can be worn with a belt or without one.
I bought this around the first term of university but I hardly ever wore it as I don't like my arms. But I wore it out the other night and I loved it. I felt really confident in it and although I still don't like my arms, I love how it makes my figure look. It really pulls the waist in and skims past the thighs lovely. The colour also makes me happy!
So this is my first 'real' fashion post. Sorry it's not that good. Like I said originally, I'm not big fashionable at all and I definitely don't know how to talk about fashion. But of course, we all love clothes!
What are your favourite dresses?

OTN's - Face & Dress

Unfortunately, I didn't take any pictures before I went out last night but I've searched through last night's pictures and I've chosen two of them which show off my outfit and make up the best. I must warn you though - these pictures were taken out!
Foundation - Lancome's Teint Idole Ultra 24H
Concealer - Collection 2000's Lasting Perfection
Powder - Witch's Pressed Powder
Bronzer - Sleek's Contour Kit
Highlight - Avon's Colour and Contour in Rose Glow
Blush - Bourjois' Blush in Rose De Jaspe
Eye Shadows - Urban Decay's Verve, Pistol and Gunmetal
Eye Liner - 17's Liquid Liner
Mascara - Lancome's Hypnose Mascara
Lipstick - Lancome's Juicy Tube in Fraise
Dress - Primark
Belt - Came with the dress from Primark
Cardigan - Warehouse
Bag - Topshop

So overall, last night was an incredible night. Greg James from Radio 1 ended up coming down to do a DJ set and to be honest, I wasn't looking forward to it. Zane Lowe (also from Radio 1) has been down to Lincoln before in Freshers Week and he just remixed songs so I was expecting the same from Greg James. But he didn't, and he was actually very good!

Haul - Topshop & Boots

You can tell I've had my student loan can't you? Anyway, I went into Boots earlier today to spend my No7 £5 vouchers. When I was working on Sunday, I forgot to spend them (crazy seeing as I was pretty much handing them out all day)!
L-R
Eyeshadow Blend and Contour Brush
I already have two of these but you really can't have enough. I like having lots of them because when one is dirty, you can just switch to the other one. They're really great for applying contour colour and also for blending (hence the name). I strongly recommend these brushes. And with the vouchers, they're just £2.75.
Precision Eyeliner Brush
In the haul that I posted yesterday I bought some gel eyeliner but I forgot about a brush. I do have one but it isn't very good and I'm starting to get back into eyeliner again. So I bought this brush as it was a steal at just £2.75.
Brow and Lash Comb
I don't really have a good brow comb so when I saw this one, I thought why not?! I'm sure every single brow comb is the same but it was just £1.50 after the voucher.
I'm sure you all know by now that I'm a big Britney fan. And when I saw Britney wearing a gorgeous Topshop dress when she launched her UK tour, I knew I had to have it! But when I saw the price, I knew it wasn't going to be possible. However, I then saw that it went into the sale so I quickly snapped it up. After postage etc it cost me just £17.50 - a bargain considering the original price was £45.
Britney Spears and Net Panel Dress by Dress Up Topshop Photograph
The only problem is, I've seen Britney wear this dress and I know how beautiful she looks in it - and unfortunately, I don't haha. But it's going to give me a big of a push to lose some weight. Seeing it in my wardrobe should encourage me!
What have you been buying with your No7 vouchers? And, have you bought anything from the sales?
