Korres Wild Rose Collection

Korres is one of those brands that regardless of your age, you're bound to enjoy their products. And with Mothers Day just around the corner, the Korres Japanese Rose Gift Set* makes a beautiful gift. Including the best selling products; Japanese Rose Body Milk, Japanese Rose Shower Gel and Wild Rose Lip Butter, this trio is the perfect way to celebrate Mothers Day and say "thank you" to your loved one.

The Japanese Rose Shower Gel is extremely moisturising on the skin and leaves it almost glowing. It has an array of goodness inside of the product including Aloe, vitamin C, vitamin E, zinc and antioxidant enzymes which all work together to enhance the skin's immune system. The scent is very delicate and uplifting and is the perfect way to to kick start the "rose routine." Follow this up with the Japanese Body Milk for extra silky skin and another layer of scent. The body milk is lightweight, sinks into the skin nice and quickly and provides long-lasting hydration. Finally, the best product of the bunch (in my opinion) is the Wild Rose Lip Butter. Packed with moisturising and healing properties and enriched with Shea Butter and Rice Wax, this lip butter hydrates the lips and leaves them feeling soft. Not only that, but it has a beautiful red/fuchsia pigment that really makes the lips "pop." Perfect for no make up, make up days.

You can buy this kit here where it retails for just £20 (a saving of 23% if you were to buy the products separately).

Have you tried any of Korres' Rose products before? What are you doing for Mothers Day?

BATH | LUSH Santa's Grotto gift set

Seeing as you can no longer buy this beautiful gift set, this post is way overdue. I usually hate blogging about things you can no longer get a hold of but it's too pretty not too! And I know that many of you went crazy in the LUSH sales so a few of you may have this gift set already. Plus, there's nothing wrong with admiring beauty, hey?!

I received this delicious gift set off of my mum for Christmas. I could already smell it through the wrapping paper before I opened it much to her dismay - damn me and my LUSH searching nose. The Santa's Grotto gift set retailed for £18.95 meaning that in the sale, it was an absolute bargain. I know it was on the sale page for a couple of days too so I do apologise for not getting this post up quicker - I blame Christmas.

Anyway, wrapped inside this gorgeous scarf were four festive bath ballistics: Cinders (one of my all-time favourites), Father Christmas (filled with refreshing mandarin oil), Secret Santa (with energising lime oil and a miniature Santa bomb inside) and Snowman (with is ridiculously nourishing).

So far, I've used up Cinders and Snowman (which I've already reviewed here and here) however I've held off using the other two. The reason for this is that 1. I spent a lot of money in the LUSH sale so have many bath bombs to go through and 2. I'm unsure whether or not to photograph them and blog about them separately. I want to show off how pretty they look in the bath but I don't see the point if I'm honest as it's only going to make you all miss the delicious Christmas goodies LUSH had on offer this year. So let me know in the comments if you'd like me to review them separately and I will do. My camera is ready.

Did you receive any LUSH for Christmas?

What I got for my 21st birthday

In case you didn't know, last week I turned 21. I had planned to get this post up earlier than today but my life has literally been incredibly hectic recently. I'm currently on work experience during the day and then catching up on university work at night - it's crazy but I'm loving it. Anyway, as I didn't show you what I got for Christmas, I thought I'd show you what I got for my birthday. I absolutely loved everything and I'm so appreciative for the gifts.

Starting off with my sister who was a sneaky little mare and pretended to have work on the eve of my birthday tea and then showed up as she'd secretly booked it off. She got me a Kindle which I've fallen head over heels in love with. I take it everywhere with me: downstairs, to bed, to work, in the bath. I adore it and it's already filled with stacks and stacks of books that I can't wait to read. In fact, since receiving it, I've read four books. Four books in a week. Crazyness! I then received the TRESemme hairdryer from her which I was so thankful for. My last hairdryer was on its last legs and this one is incredible. It dries the hair ridiculously quickly and it came with lots of other wonderful bits and bobs too.

From two thirds my dad and stepmum and one third my grandparents, I got the Nikon AF-S 50mm f/1.8G lens which until the other day, I had no idea how to use it. But on work experience, the photographer gave me a masterclass and now, I can't stop snapping pictures of everything. The photos above weren't taken using this lens, however be prepared for some super cool photos very soon on this blog. It's wonderful and does exactly what I want it to in terms of photos for my blog. My dad and stepmum also took me out for a delicious meal at a fancy a la carte restaurant. The rest of my grandparents money went on Disco Pants (which I desperately needed), the D3100 book for Dummies, US InStyle magazine (as Britney is on the cover) and the pink blazer.

Off my mum and stepdad I got the beautiful rose gold Red Herring watch which hasn't left my wrist since, a badge, a wine glass, Lambrini (it's my favourite, don't judge), the Dorothy Perkins Dress and the clutch bag which I've fallen in love with. I'd been needing one for a while because I take the whole world out with me on nights out. This one is the perfect size and comes with two zips which for me is a necessity. The Lipsy bag was off my other grandparents which couldn't have come at a better time as I was desperate for a new bag. The 21st bear off my step grandparents, the gorgeous gold stud earrings from my other step grandparent and the champagne off my auntie. I also got a Kindle case off of my uncle however, it hadn't arrived when I took these pictures but it's just a gorgeous pink leather case.

And I think that's everything but knowing me, I'll have missed something off of it. I love every single gift and seeing as my birthday is straight after Christmas, I couldn't believe how much I got. I know a lot of family will be reading this blog post so I'd just like to say a massive thank you for everything and I love you all.

MAKE UP | Soap & Glory Powder Trip

L-R Glow All Out Luminizing Face Powder, Love at First Blush Blushing Powder, Solar Powder Bronzer

I wanted to get this review up ASAP not only because it's something that I've fallen head over heels in love with, but it's also still available to buy on the Boots website. And seeing as it's so fabulous, I'd love for you all to get your mitts on it. I had my eye on the Soap & Glory Powder Trip Gift Set the moment I saw it however, at £20 I just couldn't bring myself to part with my money - especially when I should've been spending money on gifts for others. Needless to say, when I saw this gift set in my local Boots on Boxing Day, I quickly snapped it up and it's quickly become one of my favourite palettes ever.

Included in this palette is the Love At First Blush Blushing Powder which leaves the skin looking beautifully luminous. With a rosy glow this blush instantly perks up the complexion. The Solar Powder Bronzer comes with two different shades - a lighter bronzing with flecks of shimmer and a deeper matte bronzer - which can be used individually or together. And finally, the Glow All Out Luminizing Face Powder lifts cheekbones and looks beautiful when the light catches it. You also get a brush which isn't bad at all.

Each of these three products retail alone for £11.00 so for the gift set to be just £10 is an absolute steal . You can buy this bargainous gift set here.

Have you tried these Soap & Glory products before? Will you be buying this gift set?

CHRISTMAS | Last minute gifts

Sadly, I haven't mentioned Christmas that much on Bamboozle Beauty this year. It's not because I'm not excited (I really am - I was dancing around my house this morning to Christmas songs) but it's because I've been rushed off of my feet with university deadlines. However yesterday, I handed in my final assignment of this semester so after a day filled with taking blog photos, I have a couple of beautiful gift sets to show you.

When it comes to haircare, I absolutely adore TIGI as a brand. Not only do their products look fantastic and smell delicious, they perform well and are affordable too. This gift set includes the Bed Head Candy Fixations Sugar Dust which when sprinkled into the roots, absorbs oil and gives you volume in an instant. I'm a massive fan of these texturising dusts and this one is without a doubt my favourite - it leaves behind no residue whatsoever. You also get the Bed Head Headrush Shine Spray which is a fine mist that leaves the hair looking sleek and shiny. I usually steer clear of shine sprays as I have oily hair but this one is incredibly lightweight and it doesn't weigh the hair down or leave it looking greasy. This gift set is worth £27 and it's a must-have for those hair care fanatics.

I'm most definitely a fake tan addict. Being as pale as a snowman means that during the winter, I'm constantly bringing out the fake tan to ensure I look golden and glowing. Xen-Tan is one of my favourite brands and I've been addicted to their Body Scrub since using it on holiday this year. It removes dead skin cells, tan build up and it smells delicious and minty. Also in this gift set is the Transform Luxe which gradually builds up a beautiful looking tan that illuminates the skin and leaves it feeling soft and smooth. This tan is incredibly fool proof and I've had no problems with streaks and patchy areas once it's used after the Body Scrub. And of course, no fake tanning kit is complete without a mitt - the Xen-Tan Mitt is one of my favourites and unlike cheaper versions, it feels luxurious to use. This gift set is worth £44 and whether you know a fake tanning professional or a newbie, this gift set is one you should look into.

And there you have it! My last minute Christmas gift recommendations. A few other gifts I'd recommend for Christmas: KIKO Ultra Glossy Stylo Lipstick SetHearst Magazine SubscriptionsToo Faced Joy To The Girls Gift SetKIKO Satin Nail Lacquer SetBaylis & Harding Beauticology Master Chocolatier.

What are you favourite gifts that are out there this Christmas?

Baylis & Harding Beauticology Master Chocolatier

Oh this review is well overdue. It's been a long time coming and for what seems like forever, I've been wrapping my skin in chocolate yumminess. When a delicious Baylis & Harding press release made its way into my inbox, I could've resist but snap up their Master Chocolatier collection. Being a girl, it's inevitable that I'm addicted to chocolate but you know, a moment on the lips a lifetime on the lips and all that. So instead of indulging in the naughties, I've been getting my chocolate fix elsewhere.

Beauticology Sweet Temptations* (can't find online but here's a similar one)
Strawberry & vanilla cream truffle body wash, white chocolate body lotion, decadent milk chocolate shower creme.
Body care wise, I haven't used any other products since receiving this gift set. It's perfect in every way possible. The shower creme and body wash are lovely at what they're branded as, but if you really want to indulge, pop a few drops under a running tap - you'll have the most delicious bubble bath of your entire life. The products fill the room with a yummy scent which one of the boys in my house even complimented. The body lotion is wonderful too. It sinks into the skin immediately and leaves behind a wonderful smell. If I do say so myself, I smell good enough to eat after using this.

Decadent milk chocolate, strawberry & vanilla cream truffle, white chocolate and raspberry creme chocolate.
I was sold the moment I saw the tin. I love me some good packaging and this tin now houses my cotton wool pads - genius. The lip balms aren't the most moisturising but they do hydrate the lips nicely and provide a wonderful base for lipstick. They also taste and smell beautiful - like everything in this blog post do - and because of this, I've been using them non-stop.

Have you tried anything from the Beauticology range before?

REVIEW: Blurb Photobook

To me, photos are everything. No matter where I'm going, I'll always have some form of camera with me. Whether that's a phone camera, a point-and-shoot camera or a bridge camera. There's something special about capturing that important moment, that beautiful memory in a picture for life. So when I was offered the chance to try out a Blurb photobook* for myself, there was no way it was an opportunity I was going to turn down. In case you didn't know, or you haven't heard of Blurb before, the website enables individuals, professionals and amateurs to create their own high quality photobooks online easily. Users can create soft cover books, send eBooks to friends/relative, create a hardcover book and print Instagram images - the options are endless.
I have many photo albums from birth to my current university one (which I've just filled up so I'm going to need another one) but I've never before had a photobook. I've seen them, of course, especially when it comes to wedding photos and I love how beautiful they are. At first, I was going to create a university photobook but I guess in the end, I didn't see the point because of my album so instead, I decided to create a photobook for my sister's upcoming birthday. We've shared many memories together and a lot of these memories have been captured on camera so it just seems right to have them in a beautifully presented book. I ordered this book on the 26th March (quite late at night). I received it on the 4th April. This means that it was printed and sent to me in 9 days which is incredible.
So onto the photobook itself. It was extremely easy to create - I imported my photos, moved them to where I wanted them to be, typed in my text and pressed order. In fact, I loved creating it. It's very high quality. Even the scanned photos that I used from 20 years ago are of an incredible quality. It's glossy, beautiful, professional and I love it. I can tell that my sister is going to love it to when I give it to her for her birthday. This photobook cost me just £27.21 including shipping. I ordered the "small square 18x18cm, 20 pages, premium paper, lustre finish, ProLine white end sheets."
If you're interested in Blurb then the guys are giving new customers 15% off of their order. Use the code BOOK15OFF at the checkout (up to 30 days after you have registered on the Blurb website) to receive your discount. The code expires on the 30th of April.

REVIEW: 17 Make Up Collection

When this make up collection came on offer a few weeks back, I immediately asked my mum for it for Christmas. When I saw it in the Boots Christmas catalogue, I wasn't interested. But after spending a day surrounded by it, I fell in love. It's a beautiful collection that really doesn't contain everything that you need make up wise. I originally wasn't going to write a post on it as I didn't think there'd be any left but when I was at work yesterday, I saw that we had a few left (in Lincoln) so I quickly wrote this post in case any of you wanted to check out your local stores to see if they have any left. (There aren't any online).

It's no secret that I'm a big 17 fan. I've featured their products a lot on my blog and I'm constantly searching their make up stand to see if they have any new releases. I think the brand provide great quality products at a low price. Some gems from the brand include their mascaras, liquid liner, face powders and their eye shadows. So even if your local store doesn't have this exact collection in stock, I'd definitely recommend checking out the 17 make up stand anyway.
Pink Ice, Twinkle Toes, Fuzzy Yellow Petal, In The Nude, Very Berry lipsticks.
All of these lipsticks are nicely pigmented and glossy. I don't usually like lipsticks that come in a pan but these ones are lovely. They last pretty well for drug store lipsticks and feel nice on the lips.
 8 baked eye shadow powders.
These baked shadows are wonderful. They contain just the right amount of shimmer in them and they really do not budge once they're on the eye. They're also a pleasure to blend.
5 eyeshadow powders in Natural, Pink, Brown, Light Blue and Black.
Just like the baked shadows, these are pigmented, blend-able and have great longevity.
Metallic Cream for eyes, lips and face, Bramble Frost blush, Limited Edition Bronzer, gel eyeliner in black, eye pencil in black, eye pencil in coffee.
The Metallic Cream is a lovely and I can't stop using it as a highlighter. The blush is a great every day shade and the bronzer adds a beautiful glow to the skin. The gel eye liner is very easy to use and lasts all day long and the eye pencils are just okay. As well as all of the above, you also get the following: Blusher brush, Eye shadow brush, Angled eye define brush, Lip brush, Eye liner brush, 17 Photo Flawless primer, sharpener, Hints & Tips book, Eye lash curler, Limited Edition Mascara in black.
This set is a beautiful set and it's great for those who are just getting into make up or those who love playing around with make up. The brushes are also good quality (especially the lip blush and the eye liner brush) and I also love the 17 primer. The eye lash curlers are just as good as my No7 ones. What do you think about this set? Or as 17 as a brand?
