GIVEAWAY | Pebble Grey LED Cosmetic Mirror

This blog post has been a long time coming, but I haven't wanted to run a giveaway until I had fully settled into my new house and job. I suppose it means I've been able to give this mirror a proper test run, and let me tell you, I don't know how I've ever lived without it.

The Pebble Grey LED Cosmetic Mirror* is compact, elegantly designed must-have essential. The mirror itself is beautifully packaged and comes with a velvet pouch meaning the mirror should never get scratched in your handbag. The lights are the perfect brightness and it makes doing your make up on the go a doddle.

I've included this mirror in a blog post before in case you want more information. However, I can't really say anything more other than it's perfect! I have two of these - one for myself and one to giveaway - and if you'd like to be in with a chance of winning one then please fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!

Do you have a light up mirror for on the go touch ups?

Back to the giveaway, the gift I am giving away is Lee Stafford's Oily Roots Dry Ends Shampoo, their Original Dry Shampoo and their Breaking Hair Conditioner. HAND CARE | Carex Hand Cream + Giveaway

With the weather getting colder by the minute, it's time to dig out the dry skin products - hand cream included. Carex have recently launched two varities of hand saviours and for the past few weeks, I've been trying them out. With antibacterial properties, these creams are wonderful at nourishing, moisturising and protecting your hands. Nourish & Protect* comes with extra Vitamin E while Hydrate & Protect* includes Aloe Vera. The handbag sized bottles are wonderful for throwing into your handbag to ensure your hands stay in tiptop condition no matter where you are. At £2.50 each, they're an absolute bargain and some of the best hand creams I've tried. They smell clean and fresh and the cream sinks into the hands immediately leaving you with beautifully soft skin. I use Nourish & Protect before I go to bed and Hydrate & Protect throughout the day to make sure that my hands don't end up dry in this terrible weather.

I have 2 bottles of Hydrate & Protect and 2 bottles of Nourish & Protect to give away. All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning a bottle is be a resident of the UK and fill out the Rafflecopter form before. I'll be sending a random variant to each winner but if you do have a preference, let me know on the form and I'll try and give everyone the formula they'd prefer.

Have you tried out the Carex Hand Creams before? What is your favourite hand cream?

GIVEAWAY | Fashion Union Black Jacquard Pattern Trousers

I was sent the Black Jacquard Pattern Trousers* from Fashion Union a few days ago but sadly for me, they don't fit - I think I need to lay off the late night McDonald's - but my fatness is wonderful news for you guys as I'm going to be giving the pair of trousers away. They're brand new and they still have the tags on and they're a size medium (12). I do believe that they run quite small so they'd best be suited for a size 10-12 in my opinion. They're extremely well made and absolutely beautiful. All you need to do to enter is be a resident of the UK and fill out the Rafflecopter form below.

HEALTH | Deep Heat & Giveaway

As a beauty addict, I'm someone who likes to look after my body (maybe not so much from the inside - I'm looking at you chocolate digestive biscuits! - but hey, I've recently started my diet again) and sometimes life means dealing with lots of mental and physical stress triggers. Bad posture, physical activity, crouching over a computer (guilty!) all take their toll on our bodies leaving us with tense and stressed muscles at the end of the day. I don't tend to get a lot of muscular tension so I passed these products over to my dad who is someone who works hard and then goes to the gym afterwards, meaning that his muscles (particularly his shoulders) are left aching at the end of the day.

This cream heats up when applied to the body and uses a unique combination and vanilla and rosemary to help ease tension in stressed muscles. The applicator is a soft sponge which is supposed to facilitate massage and leave the hands cream-free. My dad absolutely loved this product and it's one that I always saw him applying to his shoulders. He said that the smell was pleasant, the cream was fast acting and the effect was long lasting. He said that it's something that he will repurchase time and time again.

This bath soak has been specially formulated to soothe and easy muscular tension. It contains key ingredients such as electrolyte minerals and essential oils of rosemary, patchouli and orange to give you a spa experience in your own home. This is the one product out of the two that I did try out myself - I absolutely love pamper time and soaking in the bath is one of my favourite past times. The fragrance of this bath soak was incredibly soothing. After bathing in this, my body felt completely relaxed and I had an extremely wonderful sleep the following night.

WIN A SET OF DEEP HEAT MUSCLE RESCUE NECK AND SHOULDER CREAM AND BATH SPA RELAXATION PRODUCTS

With its unique, herbal aroma that allows you to enjoy a spa-like experience, in the privacy of your own home, Deep Heat Muscle Rescue Neck and Shoulder Cream has been formulated with a combination of vanilla and rosemary to offer an everyday solution to tired, tense muscles. The convenient 50g portable pack has a soft sponge applicator providing a gentle massage when applied. Or immerse yourself into the Deep Heat Muscle Rescue Bath Soak. It contains electrolyte minerals and a unique combination of essential oils.

To celebrate Deep Heat Muscle Rescue, Mentholatum, the Deep Heat muscle experts, are offering three product sets to you guys. To enter, fill out the Rafflecopter form below.

Have you tried any Deep Heat products before? What products do you use to relax?

#NYXinNEXT Bloggers Challenge & Giveaway

NYX Love in Paris palette in Madeleines and Macaroons

NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz

NYX Propel My Eyes Mascara

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk

NYX The Curve Eyeliner

L-R NYX The Curve Eyeliner, NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk, NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz

NYX Love in Paris eye palette in Madeleines and Macaroons

When I first started blogging, NYX was the brand. However based in the US, it was an extremely hard brand to get a hold of in the UK. For a while now, NYX has been available to buy online in the UK but if you're anything like me then you'll be someone who likes to walk into a shop and swatch to your hearts desire. Finally, NYX is launching into NEXT stores nationwide this month so for the first time in the UK, customers will be able to experience the brand first hand instore (and online).
Day time eye

Night time eye

NYX Xtreme Lip Cream in Nude Peach Fuzz

NYX have challenged me to create an eye look that is suitable for day time and can be vamped up for the evening. Above, you can see my eye make up looks using products from NYX themselves. I used the Jumbo Eye Pencil in Milk* to prime my eyes. The Eye Pencil is very creamy and easy to blend and creates a nice, even base for make up. As the pencil is white, I also used it on my waterline to brighten the eye area up. I used the Love in Paris Palette* for eyeshadow as the palette features a mixture of nine matte and shimmer shades. The palette isn't the most pigmented I've ever tried but the variety of colours means that it can easily take you from daytime to night time. For daytime, I used shade 3 all over the lid and shade 6 in the crease. For night time I used shade 6 all over the lid and shade 4 in the crease to smoke it out. I then used shade 6 underneath the lash line. The Curve Eyeliner* is a product that I've raved about before. It makes applying eyeliner completely foolproof as it's so easy to use. Before discovering this eyeliner, I could never add a flick to my eyes but the design of this eyeliner makes it exceptionally simple.  I didn't wing my eyeliner out for the daytime but I did for the night time look. Mascara wise, I used the Propel My Eyes Mascara* which lifts lashes and coats them with a conditioning formula. The four-way pinwheel brush design means that each lash is evenly coated, separated, lengthened and volumised. I completed the look using the Xtreme Lip Cream* which is a hybrid of lipstick and lipgloss. It's extremely pigmented and leaves the lips moisturised and glossy.

NYX have also sent me every product mentioned above to giveaway to you guys. To be in with a chance of winning all of the goodies, all you have to do is fill out the Rafflecopter form below. After the giveaway has finished, I will be announcing the winner on Twitter.
I absolutely adored creating these too looks for you and I've been extremely excited to publish this post for a while. It's great that NYX are finally coming over to the UK and I can't wait to pop into my local store and have a little swatch. For me, the stand out product of the brand is without a doubt The Curve eyeliner. It's innovative and it's changed the way I apply my liner. You can view the entire collection instore or online.

Have you tried anything from NYX before? Will you be doing so now the brand is more accessible?

Dermaflage Dermal Filler Starter Kit + Giveaway

It's no secret that I'm covered in acne scars. Some of them aren't that bad - tiny pigmentation marks that are easy to cover up - but others go deeper and end up making my skin look uneven and bumpy. No amount of concealer can cover these and it goes without saying that they make me feel exceptionally insecure. On a day to day basis I can deal with them but for more special occasions, I hate them and I've never managed to find a way to cover them up. Up until now (wow, doesn't that sound like a snazzy advert)! The Dermaflage Dermal Filler Starter Kit is a facial scar treatment that has been specially designed to cover up many skin imperfections including scars, wrinkles and cuts.

Dermaflage uses a patented blend of medical grade silicones, cosmetic pigments and tiny coloured rayon fibres which blend together to form a silicone mask that looks like your own skin. In fact, it's pretty scary how natural and real it ends up looking once set. Think of Dermaflage like a revamped, kick-ass concealer. At first, I struggled using this but now, I find it quick and simple to use. It took a bit of getting used to because it's unlike anything I've ever tried before. You pop it on top of your make up using three easy steps: prime, apply and texture and you're good to go for a full day.

The kit comes in six colour varieties: Golden, Fair, Rosy, Bronze, Tan and Dark and you view the different colours here. When you order from JD Harris, the kit comes with satisfaction guaranteed so if you order the wrong version you can simply return it and they'll swap it for you. The kit contains: two tubes of Dermaflage dermal filler in two different skin tones, extended wear primer brush-on, mixing stick, precision application tool, spatula, texture pad and instructions. I however, didn't follow the instructions and instead followed this YouTube video which shows you how incredible the product is.

I was worried that the silicones would react with my skin and cause me to break out however, they haven't done so yet and I doubt that they will. This product, like I've mentioned above, is a bit fiddly so I don't use it every single day - just for those special occasions (like my sister's graduation next Wednesday - eeek). It makes my skin look more even and comes my acne scarring better than any concealer I've ever tried. It is pricey, yes but after suffering with scarring for 5 years, it's definitely worth the price and it's a kit that I'll always have in my collection for those special moments.

To be in with a chance of winning your very own Dermaflage kit, you must be a UK resident and you must fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!

You can buy Dermaflage here where it's currently on offer for £31.95 instead of £43.95 - you also get a 90 day money back guarantee so if you don't get on with the product, you can send it back for a refund.

Have you ever tried Dermaflage? What are your thoughts on it?

SKINCARE | Beetox Manuka Honey and Bee Venom Serum + Giveaway

After two weeks use, once a day

One skin care product that I've fallen head over heels for recently is the Beetox Manuka Honey and Bee Venom Serum*. I briefly mentioned it in my July Favourites post where I promised a full review of the product and after much anticipation, here it finally is. The science behind Beetox is extremely interesting and the product itself contains a lot of fascinating ingredients - so I apologise in advance for science-y terms and I will try and explain them the best I can.

Branded as Beetox's "hero product" of the range, the newly launched product contains both Bee Venom and Manuka Honey UMF®20+. Beetox is the first skin care range that contains the powerful UMF®20+ which stands for Unique Manuka Factor. UMF® has been praised for its antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties which means that it's an effective soother for acne-prone individuals - the higher the UMF® the higher the antibacterial activity.

The UK based skin care brand contains Purified Bee Venom which has been proven to be more potent and sustainable than Raw Bee Venom. The Bee Venom is extracted using a special process where the bees are not harmed in any way and you can read about the process on their Facebook page. Considering Beetox uses Bee Venom, the brand does not recommend their products to those who are allergic or react to bee stings. The oil-free serum has been designed the reach the deeper layers of the skin's dermis (where the majority of my scars are). Beetox helps to refine the texture of the skin by regenerating the cells quicker to help reduce the appearance of scars, fine lines, wrinkles and large pores.

Since using Beetox I've noticed that my scarring has faded a lot. The before/after picture above shows just two weeks use of the serum (I haven't taken any recently as I've moved out my university accommodation so the lighting is different which makes the photos look weird) and you can see that my most prominent scars have indeed faded. I've had my acne scars for around five years now and no other product has faded them as quickly as this one. As well as doing a wonderful job on pigmentation, the serum is also hydrating, balancing, soothing and I've noticed that my skin is more calm after application. It does have a strong scent to it - one that reminds me of "old lady perfume" - but it's not something that I actively dislike.

Although packaging isn't the be all and end all of using a product, this one is definitely worthy of a mention. Not only does it look stunning on my dressing table, it's also extremely practical too. It comes with a pipette applicator which means that not a single drop of the product is wasted. I only need a small amount to cover my entire face and although I've been using this product everyday for over four weeks, I've only used around a quarter of the bottle. The bottle is glass which unfortunately means that it isn't that practical for travelling however, I took it away on holiday with me and it didn't smash.

As you can see from the photo above, I have two bottles of Beetox which means that yes, I will be giving one of these wonder serums away. You can probably tell from my review that I absolutely adore this product and I really don't think my skin could be without it. It's calmed it down and reduced my scarring and pigmentation fast - and I can't wait to give one of you the opportunity to try it out too. To enter, you must be a UK resident and you must fill out the Rafflecopter form below. Good luck!
You can buy the Beetox Manuka Honey and Bee Venom Serum here where it retails for £45. You can also have a look at the rest of the Beetox range here which includes a face mask and a moisturiser. The products are expensive and they do sit in the high end category however here, you are most definitely getting what you pay for and like I've said, it's lasted me a long time so far.

Have you tried anything from the Beetox range before?
*Both bottles were PR Samples. One for me to trial and one for me to giveaway.

GIVEAWAY | A few of my favourite things

It's been a while since I hosted a giveaway and considering that I recently reached over 2,000 followers on all blog following platforms, I thought it was about time I did. First and foremost, I'd like to say a big thank you to everyone who has followed me over the years - old or new. It means a lot to me to know that people read the words that I type and look at the pictures that I take. When I first started blogging (over 3 years ago!) I never imagined I'd hit 100 followers - I know that everyone says this but it really is true. For me, blogging is more than a hobby. It's a way to release my feelings and there's nothing I love more than writing for this blog and reading other blogs. It's given me something to do and something to achieve in my life and it's my little baby - the proudest thing I own.

Anyway, rant over and onto the prizes. I decided to give away a few of my favourite things and I'm so happy to have gotten a hold of them. First up is the Umberto Giannini Glam Hair Grunge Glamour Tousled Salt Spray - a lovely cheaper alternative to the Bumble & Bumble Surf Spray. I recommend this all the time to people at work and not a day goes by when I don't use this. Secondly is the La Roche-Posay Effaclar Duo. This product is well loved by bloggers and I do believe that everyone deserves the chance to try this. It clears out the pores and helps to keep breakouts at bay. Another favourite of mine is the Models Own Hed Kandi polish in Bora Bora. This limited edition beauty is a summer must-have and it looks beautiful in the sunshine - the perfect mix of light gold and shimmer. Next up is the Bioderma Sebium H20 Micelle Solution. The 100ml version is perfect for travelling and it gently sweeps away make up whilst balancing the skin out. It's great that these are finally easy to get a hold of in the UK as they're blogger favourites and wonderful. The James Read Sleep Mask Tan is definitely a firm favourite of mine as it tans your face and gives you a facial all whilst you sleep - I can't think of anything more perfect. Not only do you wake up with bronzed skin, you wake up with bright and healthy skin too. A "Bamboozle Beauty" giveaway wouldn't be complete without a Britney Spears item so I had to include Britney's Island Fantasy EDT in 50ml. This is THE summer fragrance as it's light and fresh. Not to mention the bottle - too beautiful! The products that I can't get enough of at the moment are the Disney Princess Lip Smacker balms. I'm giving away one in Ariel - Calypso Berry as this is my favourite. It smells and tastes delicious and adds a beautiful sheen to the lips too. And finally, we're nearing the end. The Stylfile S-Ped is a wonder product that is a must-have for beautiful feet. It's quick and easy to use and does the job perfectly. I absolutely adore all of these products and I hope that you will too.

RULES:
You must be from the UK
You must be over the age of 18
If you're under 18 then you must have your parents permission as I will need a postal address from you
You must use the Rafflecopter form below to enter the giveaway

Good luck and once again, thank you!

GIVEAWAY: Imperial Leather

As you probably know, I've been running a few giveaways on my blog recently and I'm pleased to say that I have another for you. I'm sure that all of you will have heard of Imperial Leather? Well, after over 200 years of experience they have now come up with a newly formulated recipe which gives a more luxurious shower experience. They claim that their lather is now "richer, thicker and twice as creamy."
"When poured onto the skin, the shower gel doesn't run through the fingers or off the skin, meaning it stays thicker for even longer. As the gel is massaged into wet skin it creates a richer, thicker, creamier lather, which consists of millions of luxurious bubbles. Finally, thanks to the added skin conditioners, the skin feels incredibly soft and moisturised, both during and after use."
Sounds wonderful right? As a sucker for shower gels, I can't wait to get my hands on these (especially the Japanese Spa version as I tend to pick the scent up often) and when I do, I'll be reviewing them and letting you know my verdict on the new formula. Anyway, the exciting part. I have the full set consisting of Citrus Burst*, Oriental Calm*, Ocean Fresh*, Japanese Spa* and Soft Touch* to give away to one of you guys. Which means that if you win, you won't have to buy shower gel for quite a long time. If you'd like to enter my giveaway (and you're from the UK - sorry international people) then you can do so using the Rafflecopter form below.
The range is available from all major retailers, with an RRP of £1.89 for 300ml. If you'd like more information then you can visit the Imperial Leather website here.

Autumn With Revlon & Giveaway!

If your memory is good enough to remember the summer that has just, unfortunately left us then you'll probably remember Revlon's "Sweet Boutique" on Facebook. Well, it was that much of a success that Revlon are doing the exact same thing, starting today just in time for Christmas!
L-R Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie, Nail Enamel in Vixen and Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie.
As it's autumn, berry shades are back in trend. I'm a big autumn fan. I love the colours, I love how pretty it looks outside. I don't love the weather though but I guess we can ignore that. So before I tell you how you can enter the Sweet Boutique competitions, I'm going to show you some of Revlon's offerings this autumn.
I've mentioned these Lip Butters before and I really like them. They glide over the lips and leave them looking soft and smooth as well as shining with beautiful colour. They are pigmented but not as pigmented as most lipsticks and they fade nice and evenly leaving behind a stain.
L-R Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Raspberry Pie and Berry Smoothie.
Raspberry Pie is very intense! It's the most beautiful pink/berry shade I've ever seen and I can see myself wearing this out with a simple eyeliner look a lot. As for Berry Smoothie, isn't it the most perfect nude shade you've ever seen? I wear this pretty much everywhere. It's always with me and I have one in my make up collection drawers and one in my bag with me. I can't be without it.
The Revlon Nail Enamel in Vixen* is the most beautiful deep berry shade that for me, resembles Mulled Wine which makes it perfect for Christmas! Sorry about the chipping - this is after a few days wear and I really should've been a good blogger and repainted them but I wanted to get this post up in time for the Sweet Boutique start date. The nail polish applies very nicely and it's extremely easy to work with.
From today, Revlon will be giving away 100 Lip Butters every single day until the 4th December on their Facebook page. It's definitely a giveaway that's worth entering! Will you be entering?

You can find out more information about this kit here. Good luck to those who enter and I look forward to emailing/tweeting the winner!
Thank you :)

GIVEAWAY WINNER: £50 Experience Days UK Gift Voucher

Thank you to everyone who entered my giveaway. I'm sorry that all of you couldn't win but the winner is Hannah Ripley! Hannah said that if she won she'd choose Aqua Sphereing for 2 as it's something that both her and her boyfriend had been planning on doing for months. Well, I hope you and your boyfriend have a lovely time and make sure to tweet me pictures!
