WISHLIST | Workwear wardrobe


Ever since working at The Nottingham Post, I've been loving classy "grown-up" type clothes. My style has changed a lot over these past few weeks and in all honesty, I couldn't be happier with my wardrobe. There are a few other items that I'd like to add to it so I thought I'd compile a wishlist. Not just for me to remember what to buy on pay day, but for you too. In case you're looking to part with your cash for a few new items.

All items are either from Espirit or New Look, both sites that I've been loving a lot recently. The best thing about Espirit is that delivery is free. I'm someone who hates paying postage and would rather spend an extra £20 to avoid the cost. The website also has some beautiful work wear clothing. New Look speaks for itself really - I love the fact that I still have a years worth of student discount left.

eBay wishlist #2

I haven't posted an eBay wishlist in a while because I haven't really spotted anything that I fancied. But over the past couple of weeks, I've been adding a lot of products to my wishlist and when I get paid, I'll definitely be purchasing a few (okay, all of them).

You can never have enough storage and although I don't use cotton buds, I love the dispenser a lot. I'll just have to start using them. The same goes for the lipstick holder. Currently my lipsticks aren't very organised and this holder will allow me to have my favourites on display. Which brings me on to the MAC lipstick. I haven't ordered from this seller before but apparently the lipsticks are 100% genuine for a few quid cheaper.

I definitely don't need any more make up brushes but you can't grumble at the price of the Real Techniques rip offs. The ring is adorable and although most of my rings sit inside my jewellery box, I love cats so I need it. The t-shirt is a must have and I can imagine it'd look lovely with jeans or a high waisted skirt. I'll definitely be investing. In multiple colours.

The silicone oven mitt is something that I think will make cleaning my make up brushes a lot easier. I find it a bit of a chore and I can never quite be bothered, but this mitt will make it fun. I think. And finally, the make up bag. This has been in my wishlist for a really long time and it's about time I bought it. For me, it's quite pricey but I think it's adorable.

The majority of my holiday wardrobe is from them and I find their sales to be one of the best. Current Wishlist


First of all, do you know how hard it is to find stock images of products for wishlist posts?! No matter what I type into Google, the image tab is always filled with beautiful images by bloggers. Great for the community, not so great for wanting to compile a wishlist - it made me want to buy these products even more! But anyway, I managed it in the end (although it did take me a few hours longer than it would've done four years ago, bravo bloggers, bravo)!

Of course, being a Britney fan it was inevitable that her two new fragrances were going to make the list. Fantasy Nice and Fantasy Naughty are two new fragrances that have taken the exact same notes from the original Fantasy, remixed them and created two completely different scents. The Nice Remix is said to be fruity and sparkling whereas the Naughty Remix is more sensual and musky. At £23 each, they're not cheap when you want to buy them both so I'm waiting for them to be released into Boots so I can use my staff discount - waiting is not a good thing for Britney fan, sigh.

Since I discovered they do £15 student discount at UNiDAYS (even on sale items) I've fallen head over heels in love with In Love With Fashion. The two playsuits above are from the brand and I've been lusting over them for a while. Both the Mint Oriental Print Playsuit and the Lemon Diamond Back Playsuit would be perfect for my holiday in July. "I need them both" is an understatement. 

A few days ago, I'd had enough of my foundations so I found myself perusing Boots in search of a new one. I swatched many and instantly fell in love with the Bourjois Happy Light Foundation. The texture was gorgeous however, I needed a fail-safe foundation that would cover everything and I was unsure if the coverage of this was good enough. So I went with a different one. Since then, this foundation is all I've thought about it. I think I need it.

I've had my current Tangle Teezer for a long time now - ever since they were first released - but I've always lusted after a Compact version. They're more expensive than the original ones, but they're perfect for throwing into your handbag and taking with you when you're travelling. The Tangle Teezer Compact Styler in Feline Groovy is one that has caught my eye for a while. And I've managed to find it on a website called Hairtrade for a couple of pounds cheaper than it would be in Boots - bonus!

A couple of LUSH products I've got my eye on is the Oatifix Fresh Face Mask. Made up of bananas, oatmeal, vanilla and almonds, this mask smells good enough to eat. I've currently got a small sample sitting my fridge waiting for me to use it and I can't wait. I've recently replaced my cleansers with LUSH ones so I'm soon due a free face mask (with their loyalty "bring your old pots back scheme) and think this is the one I'll be getting. At the Meadowhall blogger's event, I fell in love with the Emotional Brilliance range and one shade in particular that caught my eye was the Sophisticated Eyeshadow. I decided to invest in the Strong Lipstick at the time instead but I haven't been able to get this eyeshadow out of my mind since (swatch here).

The weather is getting better and my skin is getting oilier so I'm in desperate need of a new moisturiser. One I've tried before (only a tiny sachet sample unfortunately) and fell in love with is the Origins GinZing Energy Boosting Moisturizer. It smells delicious and is lightweight on the skin. I think this is the year that I finally invest in this beautiful moisturiser.

WISHLIST | Primark


The other day, I accidently found myself in Primark and whilst there, I considered walking down to Natwest and asking for a loan. Their new collection is instore and it's well and truly stunning: I pretty much wanted everything. So I decided to showcase a few of my favourites items to you guys in this impromptu post (it isn't even on my blogging schedule, that's how last minute it is). I will definitely be investing in - almost - everything above, mainly for my holidays. Everything is just so darn adorable.

Recently, I've been addicted to online shopping and one store in particular; inlovewithfashion. I've placed a few orders with them over the past year and I'm constantly browsing their £10 shop. The above items are ones that I'm currently lusting over. I've been after a swing dress for quite a while now and the simplicity of the black one is stunning - I adore the lace sleeve detailing. The other two graphic print dresses are so unusual that I'm completely drawn to them - I love anything that cinches in at the waist and emphasises that area. As for the kimono... I'm addicted to blazers and I love wearing things that cover up my terrible arms. This kimono would be perfect for throwing on top of any outfit and making it look more stylish. The jumpsuit is also stunning. I don't own one but believe this would look beautiful and classic on a casual night out.

WISHLIST | Winter Boots




As much as I hate the cold, I sure do love winter fashion. Cosy coats, beautiful boots and snug scarves certainly do it for me. I absolutely adore layering up and feeling comfortable and safe. Recently, I bought a pair of boots from Primark for just £10. They're brown and lovely and they've made me want even more. So above, I've compiled a "winter boots wishlist" much to the dismay of my bank balance. I've never owned a pair of high leg boots before (that I'm aware of) but since spotting the ones above from New Look and Equestrian Clearance, I'm really lusting after some. The heeled boots from New Look are must-haves for me - after all, I'm a student who goes out quite a lot and on the dreaded walk to the nightclub and home, I don't want my feet getting cold. I certainly will be investing in another pair of boots and I've already been sending images of ones I'd like for Christmas to my mother.

WISHLIST | South Africa's equivalent to Primark & competition

Just when I thought Primark was "the one", I stumbled upon MRP. Basically, MRP are the South African equivalent to Primark except their prices and clothing range are better and cheaper. The cheapest item in the collage above is just £2 with the most expensive being £12 - incredible. I've spent the entire morning (procrastinating as usual) browsing the website and falling in love with so many pieces. Above is just a small selection of items that I'll be ordering once my student loan graces my bank account. I've been in need of a new wardrobe for yonks now and MRP seems like the perfect place to start. They also ship to the UK for just £4 (or for free if you spend over £34) which is cheaper than some UK high street stores.

WANT: Benefit Wishlist

Benefit is a brand that I absolutely love however, I've only ever tried a few things from it. I think it's their packaging that lures me in. I've used - and loved - their Boi-ing concealer however I'm just not feeling it any more and sadly at the moment, it's unloved. I love their Porefessional primer. It's probably my favourite primer ever and I'm also a sucker for their little kits which sadly, I've never owned. The products above are ones that I'm lusting after. I've always been obsessed with their boxed powders and hopefully one day, I'll have one to call my own. Hoola sounds like the most perfect contour colour in the world and Coralista and Bella Bamba scream "sexy." As for their Fine One One, well it's been gracing the blogosphere for some time now and it's hard to not be amazed by what seems like a beautiful, wonder product. As for their Erase Paste, I'm just addicted to concealers and want more of them. I'm also running low on my Urban Decay Primer Potion so I'd love to be able to see how Stay Don't Stray compares. And finally, Brow-Zings, I'm obsessed with doing my eyebrows at the moment and it'd be nice to compare this kit to some of my favourites to see how they match up. So yes, if I happen to win the lottery, I'll be heading down to Benefit very quickly. What are your favourite Benefit products?

WISHLIST: In Love With Fashion



I know on Twitter I said I wouldn't blog today as I was going to be doing university work - sorry mum and dad - but I couldn't resist playing around on Polyvore when I saw the etailPR competition which you can also enter here. I spent a good hour browsing the In Love With Fashion website coming up with the perfect outfit and I think that I've found it above. I love pink. It's my favourite colour. Yet when I look in my wardrobe I'm surrounded by dark colours that slim my figure down. But since losing weight, I've been wanting to get a little bit more daring with my fashion choices and as you can see, the outfit above screams GIRLY, PINK and I love it. Seeing as the weather is getting a little bit warmer, I decided to go with a skirt and crop tee. The Lou Lou White and Pink 'In Vogue We Trust' Crop Tee and the Love White Floral Print Skirt look like they were made to be worn together. However, being the practical little soul that I am, I decided to throw in the Love Coral Chain Stitch Knit With Heart Elbow Patch just in case the weather dropped a little. I then of course, needed shoes and when I saw the Peach Silver Stud and Buckle Trainer, I fell in love. I don't own any shoes like these but I feel as though they give the whole outfit a more casual feel. And finally, I finished with the Inkwear Peach Flower Tattoo and Barry M Pink Iridescent Nail Paint just because they're cute and pink!

WISHLIST: Boohoo Dress

There's nothing I love more than browsing the web for clothes when I have no work and no money. Yes, it makes me pretty depressed knowing that I have no money to buy the clothes with but it also brings me so much joy. I love looking at pretty things and for me, there's nothing prettier than dresses (if you don't count make up of course). Boohoo are currently offering up to 50% off of some of their dresses and when I saw this, I immediately wanted to either attempt to extend my already huge student overdraft, take up three extra jobs or rob a bank - yes, I want clothes that badly. But instead of doing that, I resisted and decided to create a blog post so we can all swoon at pretty dresses together. As always, all of the dresses - apart from one - are fit and flare dresses. They just really suit my figure. The odd one out however - dress number 3 - is so beautiful and Barbie-fied and I want it right now. But I doubt it'd sit right on me. WISHLIST: Playsuits

Playsuits are my one true love at the moment. I think they're easy to wear and ridiculously cute. I currently only have two of them - this one from New Look and one which I recently purchased from Lashes of London after writing this blog post (a full blog post on the playsuit will be up soon). As you can see, there's a little theme running through these playsuits - I love dark colours, particularly black as I think it's the most flattering colour. I also love cute, ditsy playsuits with bows, collars, animal prints, sequins and lace. The playsuit that I need the most is the pinafore one from Topshop. However it's so expensive! So I'm currently searching all over eBay in the hopes of finding something similar for cheaper. Or if you've seen another brand do a similar version, please do let me know. When I met DollyBowBow at the Spice Girls event she was wearing it and she looked beautiful in it. It's such a staple piece and although it is expensive, I know I'd get a lot of wear out of it. But that doesn't persuade a cheap skate like me enough!

WISHLIST: Lashes of London

I'm definitely having a 'fashion moment' at the moment and I'm loving the website Lashes of London so I thought I'd create a wishlist of my current favourite picks! If you want to create your own then you can enter the e-tail bloggers competition here.

Elwick Silk Butterly Blouse, £14.40 - Butterflies, collars, what's not to love?! I'm loving blouses tucked into disco pants/skater skirts at the moment and this one is beautiful. Quite frankly, I need it. So versatile too and such a bargain as it's in the sale!
Atlantis Sequin Mini Dress, £32.50 - Okay maybe I wouldn't wear this right now but after I've lost a couple more pounds then I would definitely wear this. I love sequins and I love pink and I think this is a beautiful dress.
Rococo Caviar Beaded Dress, £90.00 - This is the definition of my style! Skater dress, black and cute. I think it's adorable and I love these kind of dresses as they fit my figure really well. This one is beautiful and I'd pair it with a blazer for a night out.
Candy Cane Sequin Skater Dress, £37.50 - Just like the other sequin dress... how cute is this?! Once again I love skater dress, sequins, pinks and collars. Such a cute and girly, fun dress!
Nevada Skater Dress, £11.40 - I'm SO ready for summer and this dress would be perfect. I love the bright colours... Just looking at the stock picture makes me happy.
Trixie Black PU Circle Mini Skirt, £45.00 - I've been after a more structured skater skirt to wear on nights out for ages and I think this is perfect. I love skater skirts because they pull you in at the waist and skim over your thighs and bum. This one is so nice.
Palms Belted Playsuit, £14.70 - And finally, this picture is big because I NEED IT. I love playsuits and the fit of this is so perfect for my figure. It reminds me of my New Look/Kelly Brook playsuit which fits me perfectly. So tempted to snap this up right away but I'm currently locked out of online banking so I don't want to make myself poor just yet... Or maybe I do. IT'S PERFECT. UPDATE: I've now purchased the playsuit. Couldn't resist.
