STORAGE | The Camouflage Company

I love organising. And I certainly enjoy organising my beauty stash the most. I used to have all of my daily essentials tucked away in my drawers, but then they became overflowing and late nights and early mornings meant that I needed to quickly grab my products. So I decided I would have them displayed on my 'dressing table.' But they ended up looking messy, so when I saw the products that The Camouflage Company offered, I knew I had to get my mitts on their foldaway trays.

I have the set of 3 foldaway trays in royal blue & white* which retail for £22 for the set. The other two boxes are currently holding my underwear and this one is displayed on top of my dressing table (I'd just like to state that dressing table isn't exactly how I'd like it due to lack of space at university). I love the foldaway trays. They make mess look neater, orderly and spotless. The sides are sturdy, the material is durable and lightweight and you can wipe it clean, meaning it's perfect for make up spillages.

In total, the company offer 12 different designs and a variety of products. They have everything from a shopping bag to a peg bag, a wheelie bag to a picnic bag. They ship to the UK and Europe and postage to the UK is free when you spend over £20. As soon as I return home and get my real dressing table sorted, I will be without a doubt purchasing more foldaway trays.

How do you organise your beauty products?

STORAGE: Wilkinsons Crystal Drawers

When it comes to finding the perfect way to store your make up collection, it can be hard. It's taken me a really long time to sort of, perfect mine - especially because I'm constantly moving from uni to home - but now I have done, I love it. My most recent additions are these beautiful crystal drawers from Wilkinsons*.

I use these drawers for storing my most loved lipsticks and my most used foundations. They're really sturdy and look absolutely beautiful. I also love how you can stack them up or place items on top of them as I have done in the images above. It's as if they're the ever-famous MUJI drawers but a lot cheaper (they retail for less than £10 each). In the smaller drawers I have my MAC Please Me, Costa Chic, Saint Germain, Kinda Sexy and Lazy Day lipsticks, my Estee Lauder Pure Color Lipstick in Candy*, my Lancome French Touch lipstick in Soft Marshmallow, my Barbara Daly lipsticks in Coral and Tiger Lily*, my Maybelline Color Sensational lipstick in Ambre Rose, my Revlon Lip Butter in Berry Smoothie* and my No7 Moisture Drench lipstick in Starstruck. In the larger drawers I have my Laura Mercier Silk Creme Foundation, Estee Lauder Double Wear Foundation, Liz Earle Signature Foundation*, Lancome Teint Idole Ultra 24Hr, MAC Studio Sculpt Foundation, Nip + Fab CC Cream*, Maybelline Fit Me Foundation, Rimmel's Wake Me Up Foundation and two different shades of Liz Earle's Sheer Skin Tint*. For reference, the cats on top of the drawers were gifts from my friends and they're from a lovely shop in Lincoln. I then have a 30ml bottle of Taylor Swift's Wonderstruck and a smaller 5ml bottle of the same perfume as it's my favourite. And finally, I have a bottle of Estee Lauder's Perfectionist CP+R Wrinkle Lifting/Firming Serum*. So there you have it - this is how I store my "most loved" products. And I definitely need to get a few more of them for when I move back home properly. I would get more now but at university I have my make up in drawers in my desk.

How I.. Store My Make Up Brushes

For a long time I'd been using a pencil holder from Home Bargains to hold my brushes in but recently, it just hasn't been cutting it. I'm a YouTube lover and I love Blair and Elle so when I saw their brush holders with no postage, I knew I had to get one.
The girls do a variety of different coloured brush holders which you can view here and they even give you the option to choose your own colours for just a bit more.
I went with the Hot Pink and Black brush holder and I love it so much. It's really pretty, practical and it holds all my brushes very well. It's sturdy as well and I definitely don't have to worry about it breaking.
The holder cost me just £9.53 (once converted from US Dollars) because like I said, I had a free postage code. It did take a while to receive but seeing as it's from America, I did expect that. I really love it!
How do you house your brushes?

How I Store My Make Up

I absolutely love storage posts and it's been a while since I've done one. Infact, I don't think I've ever shown you guys how I store my make up at university. So here we go!
I keep most of my make up in two drawers next to where I sit at my desk. They're the top two drawers and the things that are most used in my university bedroom. I store my make up inside some drawer separators which were from B&M and you can find these here for just £1.99 each or you can get 2 for £3.
Whilst they're useful and very cheap, they're not the greatest out there. They bend a lot and often I'll find mascaras in my lipglosses and they definitely need to be tidied up every fortnight to keep them looking clean. I also keep things either side of the drawers - the top draw I keep hair care products that I reach for often and the second draw houses my palettes next to the separators.
More recently I've had to move my foundations as I've just got too many now. So I decided to use my Champneys gift set box. It's very pretty and it was on show anyway so now it's just more practical. And it's the perfect size - unless I buy more foundations which I probably will do.
How do you store your make up? If you've wrote a post about it (or filmed a YouTube video) please leave the link below as like I said, I love them! I'd love to get myself some MUJI storage but they're so expensive. So if you have any other ideas for drawer separators, let me know!

My Dressing Table

Hands up, who loves storage posts?! I definitely do - maybe it's because I'm nosey! I know I've done a storage post on my dressing table before but since moving into my dads, I've changed it around a little bit. I've also done a storage post on my skincare/bodycare/haircare products but that isn't my dressing table - just a few shelves! So this is my dressing table..
Top Row L-R: The pink and yellow boxes have some skincare samples in them and then next to those is a jar full of cotton wool pads. After that, there's one of my necklaces (my favourite) and then a box with candles inside. The vintage looking storage box is home to all of my Clinique products and also my Katy Perry tour lollipop! The stripey cardboard box contains a few small boxes and also PR contact details and then after that is a Britney Spears tour cup!
Second Row: On this row I have my favourite perfumes, a cupcake money box, an owl money box and a letter holder that houses my favourite palettes.
Third Row: This is the main row and you can see my No7 Light Up Mirror, my nail polish cake stand, 13 drawers for my make up, 2 brush holders, a woven box and lots of other random bits!
Fourth Small Row: This row has a lot of random items on there including shavers, face wipes, hair grips and hair bands.
The Big Area On The Left: This has all of my electrical items in a big box and then some more cotton wool pads and hairbrushes in a black rack from Ikea. I also keep my nail polish remover, Rollasoles and manicure items here.
Bottom Area: A lot of random items here as well including my on the go manicure set, Bumpits, Soap & Glory basket, No7 mirror box (as it breaks a lot), CDs and 4 drawers which houses random items yet again.
On The Right: On top of the woven drawers is a little box that I store my lipsticks in and then on top of that is my PedEgg and some glitter! Inside the drawers is more skincare/haircare/bodycare items.

MAC Lipsticks + Storage

I don't have many MAC lipsticks at all and this is because my closest MAC is pretty far away and I don't like ordering offline. Also, when I walk into a MAC shop, I'm so overwhelmed by all the beautiful colours and I never know what to get! But I thought I'd show you my collection anyway just incase you're interested :) I highly rate MAC as a brand and in particular, I recommend their lipsticks. They're wonderful quality, last a long time on the lips and of course, the colour range is spectacular.
L-R Lazy Day (from the To The Beach collection), Saint Germain, Kinda Sexy, Costa Chic

I hate how little I have left of Lazy Day! It's definitely one of my all time favourite lipsticks but unfortunately it's limited edition from a collection. I just hope that they release it again soon!
L-R Lazy Day (from the To The Beach collection), Saint Germain, Kinda Sexy, Costa Chic

I love all of these colours so much! I'd say that Lazy Day and Kinda Sexy are the most wearable for the day time whilst Saint Germain and Costa Chic are definitely ones to get out at night! But that doesn't mean you can't work them during the day.. I use a light hand and light dab Saint Germain or Costa Chic over my lips to give a 'stained' finish.

This is what I keep my lipsticks in. This box is from Boots but I don't believe that it's available anymore as it was in the Christmas gifts section. Hopefully it'll reappear this year :) It's made of glass, really sturdy and of course, it's beautiful!
And a quick picture of my cat Ratchett - he certainly made it a hard task taking these pictures. He kept getting in the way and wanted his picture taken so I thought why not?!

What are your favourite MAC lipsticks? Do you have any recommendations? And also, how do you store your lipsticks?

Skincare/Haircare/Bodycare storage!

I don't know about you but I love looking at people's storage! So I thought I'd show you mine. Recently as you know, I've moved into my dads and I didn't feel at home until I had my make up and beauty collection with me! It's finally here and I've changed the way that I've stored it a little bit.
This is an overview. I apologise for the mess underneath but it's where I store my wires and chargers etc. It also has a Umberto Gianni bottle underneath which I didn't notice until this picture haha! Anyway, this is a TV stand from Argos (I do believe) but I've removed my TV to make room for my beauty products.
These are my favourite haircare products. If you see anything that takes your fancy, do let me know and I'll do a full review for you :)
These are my body washes. Some of them are downstairs in the bathroom though and others are in my other beauty storage (which I'll explain later why I haven't taken pictures of).
This is basically a miscellaneous section. It mainly has deodorants, suncare, hand and feet care and fake tanning products. It also has a bath milk but I don't tend to like products like that as they make my hair greasy. But, I love the smell of this one and couldn't risk not buying it!
My body scrubs! This is right next to my bed and where I lay. I normally wake up to find that one of my Flake Away's is on the other side of the room from me knocking it over in the middle of the night.
These are my moisturisers. Including Liz Earle's Superskin Bust Treatment that I'm currently trying out. Oh and Lush's Ring of Roses soap - so basically body moisturisers plus random other findings.
My skincare products! Now that I'm looking, I think something is missing as there seems to be a big gap between my Liz Earle Spot On treatment..

I also have 8 more drawers and a box full of skincare/haircare/bodycare products but I haven't taken pictures of these because they're not very tidy at the moment. I will post pictures in time though! Also, the products that are on this stand are my favourites and they get used all the time; the products in my drawers unfortunately don't get shown a lot of love.

If you see anything that catches your eye, please let me know and I'll do a full review on the product :) Also, like I mentioned earlier, I love looking at ways that people store products, so if you've done a storage video/post, link me in the comments and I'll take a look!

How do you store products? Would you like more storage posts?
