Oh, KIKO can do no wrong at the moment. They exploded onto the British scene earlier this year and from then on, they've become a prominent brand in my make up collection. The KIKO Long Lasting Colour Lip Markers* do not disappoint either. I tried out a few lip markers from Covergirl a few years back however, I really didn't get on with them. They applied streaky, they didn't last long, the smelt and tasted disgusting and they dried up after a couple of days. The KIKO Lip Markers however are completely different. As you can tell from the photos, these are essentially felt tip pens for your lips. They allow you to trace, fill and colour your lips which ensures you get a beautiful, even finish. There is no need for lip liner, lipstick and then lipgloss as this does all three in one. The best thing about these Lip Markers though is that they do not budge. They essentially stain your lips which for nights out and days at work, is perfect as you don't need to touch them up. I applied the colour 108 in the morning and when I went round to my sisters at night she asked me why I was wearing lipstick so late at night. That's how long these last, they're seriously incredible. They don't dry the lips out either and they're extremely pigmented if you want them to be. By this I mean that you can build up the colour intensity. So if you're after a tint to the lips, you can have it. If you're after full on colour, just keep colouring. They smell and taste really fruity - not as awful as the chemically scented and tasting Covergirl ones all those years back. I'm actually in love. These are available in eight different shades but I was sent the colours 102, 103 and 108. 102 gives you that perfect, true red lip. It's vibrant, sexy and wonderful with a simple eye look. 103 is similar to 102 but it's not as bright and in your face. It's more of a muted down red shade. And finally, 108 is the most perfect fuschia colour I've ever come across.
You can buy these Lip Markers here and they retail for £6.90 each. Have you tried anything from KIKO before? What do you think about these Lip Markers?
