EYES | My lips are saying goodbye, my eyes are finally dry

Highlight: Sin
All over the lid: Toasted
In the crease: Hustle
Under the lash line: Half Baked
Eyeliner: NYX The Curve*

It was late Tuesday night (or early Wednesday morning, whichever way you want to look at it) and I was extremely bored alone in my apartment. So what did I decide to do? Whip out the eyeshadows and get creative of course! I absolutely adore make up. I love experimenting with it. And I love applying it. One of my favourite eyeshadow palettes is without a doubt the Urban Decay Naked palette. I'll never forget the moment this was released - it was instant love and it's the palette that first got me into eyeshadow.

I've recently received a new fancy eyeliner - it's a fancy contraption, I'll tell ya. And I wanted to play around with it to see what it was like so this also contributed to my need to play around with make up. As you can see from the picture, it's beautiful and I'll say right now, it's easy to use. I'm not the best at creating flicks but I did it with ease and quickly in the look above. I do have a "top 3 eyeliner post" coming very soon with a more indepth review on said eyeliner so keep an eye out for that if you're interested.

I can see this being a look that I'll wear a lot in freshers week. On nights out though, I do like intense eyes so I'd add pencil liner on my waterline and a little bit of black in the crease to darken the look up. Oh and some falsies of course - can't go wrong with those! The Lancome Hypnose Drama mascara does a pretty good job when it comes to full and fluttery lashes though. I bought it in a Christmas gift set in the Boots Boxing Day sale and I'll definitely be stocking up this boxing day.

Do you experiment with make up when you're bored? What's your favourite "intense" eye make up look?
