Instagram [13]

Hasn't the weather been beautiful this week?! I've started back on my Weightwatchers diet and so far so good. Me, my sister and our friend have also been running every single day and although it was a struggle at first - I hadn't exercised properly in five years - it's definitely getting that little bit easier. So this week I've been back in Lincoln and I've literally just been chilling out. We've been shopping, going for late night walks, having nights out, nights in. It's just been lovely to do absolutely nothing. I also went home the other day for a few hours which was really nice too as I got to see a lot of family members in a short period of time. I have next weekend off work for Father's Day so I will be back home for a couple of days while I can. Hopefully the weather will stay nice! Have a lovely week :)

Instagram [12]

Hey lovelies. How are you all? I've just got back in from work and wow, my apartment is like an oven! It seriously feels like I'm abroad on holiday when I'm outside. I'm not much of a sun girl - I like it when the weather isn't too hot or too cold - but I'm definitely embracing it because of the bad weather we've been cursed with this year so far. This week has been a great one. On Tuesday I went back home and on Wednesday I took a trip to Westfield Derby with my mum. My haul post will be going live tomorrow so if you're as addicted to hauls as I am, keep an eye out for that one. On Thursday I caught up with my grandparents and on Friday I saw my dad, his girlfriend and her two sons. I travelled back to Lincoln on Saturday for work on Sunday and now I'm here for another few weeks. I quite like having nothing to do. This year has been hectic in terms of my work schedule so to wake up and literally do nothing is pretty blissful. On another note, I'm now a writer for TrendLife magazine so you should be seeing a few of my articles up on there soon, hopefully! Oh and if you haven't done so already, make sure you have a little look at my new June Advertisers on the right hand side of my page - they're such lovely ladies.

Instagram [11]

Hey lovelies! How are you all? This week has been pretty interesting. I finished my second year of university on Monday - eeek, scary right? I had one of the hardest exams of my life. It was pre-released which meant I had to teach myself an awful lot, memorise it and scribble down three essays in two hours - phew, thank god that's over! After that, I've just been chilling out, catching up with friends and generally being a lazy student. I'm working tomorrow though which I'm pretty excited about. I only usually work on Sundays but four months off means that I'm going to end up quite bored so I've asked for a few extra shifts if possible. I'm going back home next week for a few days to see my family, my cat and also to go shopping at Westfield Derby. In case you didn't know, I was gifted a gift card a few weeks ago as a thank you and it's been burning a hole in my pocket. I can't wait to finally spend it and treat myself after a hard year at university.

Instagram [10]

Hey lovelies. Just a quick one today as I have an exam tomorrow so should be revising. It's my last exam, thank god but it's a hard one. It's a pre-release which means I already have my questions however, it's all based on our own research so basically we have to write three essays all from memory on topics we've researched in the past two weeks. I don't know about you guys but my memory cannot remember three essays as quickly as that - it's a nightmare. But as long as I pass, that'll do. I went out on Friday night as it was my sister's best friend's birthday on the Saturday so at midnight, she turned 20 which was exciting. The next day, we went to Nando's and to see Iron Man 3 which was incredible. I can't believe I've waited so long to see the film. Instagram [9]

This week I went to Skegness on Bank Holiday Monday. I haven't included any Instagrams from then and I won't go into too much detail as I wrote a full post on it here but it was a lovely day. I should've been revising a lot this week but instead, I've been going round to my sisters, watching films and playing on the xbox, oops. So I have a bit of catching up to do this week. My sister got her dissertation mark back and she got 75% which is a first and incredible so I've been really, really proud of her this week. On Saturday, I was the assistant photographer for the Lincoln Zombie Run, I haven't put up any photos yet but when I will do, they'll be on my photography blog if you're interested. It was a really fun and interesting day and I enjoyed it lots. But yeah, other than lounging around, I haven't really done much this week and I don't think I will be doing for a good few weeks. So pictures speak a thousand words! Ooh, another note - how beautiful did Britney look at last night's Wango Tango?! I'm so proud of her. She finally looks happy again :)

Instagram [8]

Korres Lip Butter, yaay | Goofing about during university work | Beautiful cat in the street that I wanted to lure back to my flat | My best friend came to university and put banana in her curry | Hitting pan is heart breaking | Just finished doing my make up | Happy May! | Attempting on OOTD post | Which Britney DVD do I watch first? | RIP VIVA Forever! and thank you for the amazing experience and memories | James Read Sleep Mask Tan is wonderful | Getting food supplies and then back into university - I was there from 11am until 10:30pm | Completed magazine | OOTD for a meeting and shopping - my Britney dress | I need to tidy and organise this mess.

What a week! I had a pretty big deadline on Friday - me and another girl had to create a 12 page magazine which took up a lot of time. However, I really enjoyed the assignment as finally, I was writing what I wanted to as we decided on a Cosmopolitan-type magazine. So other than spending my life in the newsrooms, I haven't done much. And for the next week, I've got nothing else to do. Both of my exams are pre-releases which means that I can't start revising until they've been released. Me and my friends are going to Skegness tomorrow though as apparently, the weather is going to be beautiful. A little relaxing break before revision. But anyway, I hope you've all had a lovely week!

Instagram [7]

It's been an interesting week. On Friday, I had to hand in six pieces of work and thankfully, I handed them all in on time - early if I must have. So this week has basically been work, work, work all day and then chilling out at night. Yesterday (Friday) I went out for a much needed night out and my best friend - who changed uni's after her first year - came up to see us. She's from the Isle of Wight so we don't get to see her that often but it was lovely. I'm not recovering from last night, tidying my room and then we're going to grab some girly lunch which should be nice. We're in need of a catch up. Next week consists of work too as I have two hand-ins next Friday - kill me now! Instagram [5] & [6]

I missed my Instagram post last week so I decided to join the two of them together and create one big one. The first set of pictures is from last week and the second set is from this week. I'm fully back and settled in at university now. The work load at the moment is crazy and I thank god that I have blogging to take my mind off of it. I've always said that blogging is a sort of escapism for me and it's nice to put my journalism into practice and for once, write about what I want to write about. This week has been kinda exciting for me as I have my first iPhone. It's beautiful and I've fallen completely in love with is - as you can probably tell by the amount of pictures on Instagram. Also, the new COD Zombie maps have been released so me and my sister have been slaying zombies into the early hours of the morning - saddos, I know. On Monday I also caught up with two of my friends from university over wine and it was really lovely. Instagram [4]

By the time you're reading this, I'll be back in Lincoln. If it was up to me, I wouldn't be back there just yet but because of work, I have to. Luckily, as it was bank holiday, I had last Sunday off which meant that I was allowed to stay at home for a week longer than I'd originally planned. Yet now I'm back in Lincoln, I'm unsure if I want to be. I've really enjoyed being back home and none of my friends are back yet so it's pretty lonely. But hey-ho, plenty of time to catch up with blogging. I'm sorry that I haven't blogged much this week - it's been hectic but I promise I'll get back on track as I've missed it a lot. Not that much has happened this week - been out for a few meals, stayed at my mum's for a couple of nights and I've read three books so far. All Nicholas Sparks. This week I read The Lucky One, Safe Haven and A Walk To Remember. I've previously read Dear John and The Last Song but I want to read more of his stuff. I'm addicted. I love living in a fantasy world where everyone loves each other so if you have recommendations, let me know. I hope you've all had a fantastic week!

Instagram [3]

As you probably know, I'm back home! I haven't been home since returning to university in January so it's lovely to be back. I love university so much but sometimes it's nice to just go back home and be a kid again. To be honest, I haven't really done much, just catching up with family and going out for a few meals which has been of course, really nice. On Sunday I'm going round to one of my school friends house which is going to be amazing. I haven't seen my school friends in two years (at least, some I haven't seen in four years) and it's going to be so good catching up with them. I love my uni friends but there are some memories that I can't share with them. My school friends grew up with me and they know me better than anyone. So laughing at old memories over wine with them will be something special. I guess that's really it for this week. I'm going back through my photo archive when it comes to reviews as there are a few products that I adore but simply haven't blogged about them yet. So you can look forward to that, maybe. I hope you've all had a lovely week!

Instagram [2]

I am still loving Instagram. In case you didn't know, I'm going to be making this a weekly feature - either every Saturday or Sunday - as I'm just addicted. You can see my first post here. It's been a strange week. It's our last week at university before Easter and for me, the last week of lessons. I still have assignments and exams but I won't be attending any lectures/workshops. Which is scary. Because this is my second year. And we're already handing in ideas for our dissertations. I don't want it to be over. It's also my sisters last year which for me, is awful. We're at the same university and we're ridiculously close. We have mutual friends and it's going to be so weird without her. I spent Tuesday night reading her dissertation and it took three whole hours as it was that long. Incredibly proud of her though. In Lincoln we haven't had much snow. In fact, there's barely any snow. But back home in Mansfield it's been covered - as you can see from the photo. Me and my sister were supposed to be going home today for our stepbrothers 18th however we can't because the snow is that bad back home! How have your weeks been?

Instagram [1]

Mollie King's Cosmopolitan interview; "A guy should feel lucky to have you" (words to live by), my cat, before a night out, Justin Bieber Believe Tour, a very old photo of when I first moved into university in 2011, my Boots & No7 badge, a good make up day, 1D and tea, after getting my hair done by Matthew Curtis, bored in a lecture, Easter is soon, Models Own Neon Nail Polish, before meeting the Spice Girls, pamper session, before meeting the Spice Girls again.

I've become obsessed with Instagram. My beloved Blackberry randomly broke on me the other day. I left my flat, got in a taxi, checked my phone in the taxi and it my phone was completely dead, very strange. So it's currently at Orange getting fixed. I now have a new phone - well, it's my mum's old phone - and I'm preferring it to my Blackberry. So even when my Blackberry comes back, I'll probably be keeping this one. The biggest benefit of having this phone is the fact that I can now Instagram. For a few months (maybe years?!) I've been sad because I haven't been able to join in Instagramming and I get upset when I see all of your guys' pretty Instagrams on my Twitter timeline. So now I'm so happy I can join in. I'm addicted though and to get up to speed with those who have been Instagramming for ages I've been posting new (and a few older) photos.
