Pro-Activ Review

First of all, I apologise for the terrible pictures. I took them a while ago and if I say so myself, I think I've gotten a little bit better at photography. I've been using this range for a while now and I've figured out that I've been using them long enough to allow my skin to adapt to the routine and do a full on review. So basically, this range is aimed at people with blemishes (which I do) and you can find out more about the range here.

Renewing Cleanser
This cleanser is the first step in the system and all you do is squeeze it into your hand, add water and massage your skin. It has tiny exfoliating beads inside which aren't harsh and not too abrasive. I actually really like this cleanser; it gives my skin a deep clean and after using it my skin looks bright and ready to face the day. The only problem I have with this is that when I've been out at night and I have a full face of make up, it doesn't remove everything. And because of the exfoliating beads it can't be used on the eyes. So I normally use a baby wipe before using this. But overall, it's a lovely cleanser that makes my skin look more awake and refreshed.
Revitalising Toner
I've always used toners as I normally use one brands worth of skincare products and they usually have toners included. A lot of people have problems with them as they don't see any need for them but I enjoy them because they make my skin feel more refreshed and that extra bit clean. I like this toner because it doesn't smell like chemicals like most toners do. It's refreshing to use and helps remove extra dirt that your cleanser didn't manage.
Repairing Day Lotion
I have a problem with moisturisers. I really struggle to find one that works for me because although I do have blemished skin, it's combination. And typically moisturisers for blemished skin are aimed at very oily skin so the moisturisers I have to use aren't moisturising enough. However, this moisturiser is really lovely. Once again it doesn't smell chemically and sinks into the skin leaving the perfect base for make up.
Refining Mask
I'm such a face mask addict. I can't get enough of them and this one is no exception. It's a clay mask that draws out impurities and also refines the pores leaving your skin looking airbrushed! I adore this mask so much and I use it 2 times a week generally.
Repairing Night Lotion
This is possibly my favourite product out of the kit. This night lotion is rich and moisturising but it's not heavy. It adds the right level of moisture so my skin isn't greasy looking but it also isn't scaly looking. When I wake up in the morning, my skin looks ready to face the next day and healthy. I'm a huge fan of this and it's definitely something I'll be repurchasing when it runs out. Which it hasn't done yet. Even though it's on its last legs!
Overall
I believe this is a great kit. It includes everything you need for a spot busting skin care routine and it's perfect for people that find it hard sticking to a routine. I used this twice daily for around 2 months and within a few days, I noticed a difference to my spots. They had been reduced and within a week or so, they had fully gone. Now, I did get spots whilst using this kit but the great thing is, they weren't very big and they didn't stay long. Another thing is, I have scarring from my spots and since using this, they have also been reduced. So the big question, would I repurchase these all again? No. I would repurchasing the face mask, night lotion and possibly the day lotion. But I'm too much in love with my usual cleanser and toner to replace it. But like I said, it's a wonderful kit for people who suffer with acne. Especially if your skin is combination. I should also add that this kit came with a booklet on how to use every product which was wonderful.
